After being abruptly pulled out of her visionary dream by the alarm clock, Rei immediately chucked the alarm clock into the wall. Normally Rei wouldn’t abuse her alarm clock in such a manner, but there was a perfectly good reason. She could have missed potentially critical information thanks to the alarm going off when it did.
Rei then shook her head and headed over to her bookcase. She then reached over and pulled out a small spiral notebook that was almost hidden among the other books on the shelf. Ever since her prescience abilities started to manifest Rei had been writing her visions down in this small notebook. The process of writing down the visions helped Rei remember everything about them as well as helping her analyze them, since she would have all the facts there accessible in writing.
Once Rei had finished noting down her vision she put her pen down and looked at what she had written. Almost immediately Rei realized that the stallions in her vision were allegories to people. The fact that she witnessed the 7 colts’ appearance in the dream and then the fact that the colts turned into stallions was probably very significant. Rei figured that it would be a safe bet to assume that the men those 7 horses represented had either not yet been born or that they were still very young.
However, this line of reasoning led Rei to wonder even more at other parts of her vision. What was the reason for that first Stallion to change colors? Why did that first stallion mated with the sea? Why had she and six other unknown women been bedded by those 7 colts/men in the vision?
Turning back to her notes about her vision, Rei decided to assume that the first stallion also represented a man. In that light, the sea was obviously an allusion to a woman. Who the woman that the sea alluded to was, Rei didn’t have a clue and decided to shelve that particular question for later. Visions were always easier to understand when one didn’t get too hung up on the details of what the vision was revealing after all.
“Okay,” Rei said to herself so she could get her thoughts strait. “This vision most likely doesn’t have anything to do with threats to the Earth. If I look at the vision without trying to find any warnings of impending doom the vision is relatively straight forward. Somewhere there’s a man and a woman who are going to have at least 7 sons. The other aspects of that part of the vision probably have clues to figuring out their identity. Continuing on, that means that one of the sons in the vision is going to be my lover.”
For a second Rei’s room was completely quiet after Rei had finished arranging her thoughts. Then her mind realized what she had said and Rei blurted out, “MY LOVER?!”
