That didn't mean that she couldn't tease the couple, though. It was the prerogative of elder sisters to do things like that, and she rather felt that she had that sort of relationship with them. They needed someone to depend on after all, and she was one of the best people for the job.
Okay, so she was a bit self interested, and willing to scheme to get what she wanted, but no one got seriously hurt.
At the very least, she had a perfectly clear conscience as she waited to talk to:
