After all, the girl was certainly a looker, what with having a figure like hers. Yohko's face was pretty, her bust was firm, her waist was damned tiny, and her legs just begged to be in a short skirt and heels. Nabiki was rather certain that she could have found plenty of attractive guys who would have loved to date her, and knew that there were boys who had crushes on her as it was. Seeing as her friend had an outgoing personality, and was a romantic, it should have been easy enough to do. Not even the fact that her family was a bit... odd would have made it difficult to find a date for the girl.
Well, okay, the girl's family was completely weird, and that came as an observation from a girl whose father could cry rivers, and whose younger sister was attacked by a mob of date seeking idiots daily. Of course, the family in question was not exactly trying to hide how strange it was. Given that her friend lived with a mother who not only had a parade of men in her life, but gave her daughter condoms and the pressure to use them, this was certainly not a typical home life. Then there was the grandmother who not only constantly attacked Yohko in an effort to train her, but actually fought with Yohko's mother, Sayoko, on a regular basis.
As much as Nabiki liked both Sayoko, and Yohko's grandmother, Madoka, she was rather pleased by the fact that she didn't have to deal with them all the time.
At the same time, there wasn't any doubt that she got along with Yohko, and could already hear her friend's voice in her mind.
*"Well, hi, Nabiki,"* chirped Yohko over the phone line. *"It's good to hear from you."*
Not that it was all that hard to get to hear the girl's voice in reality. "Hello, Yohko. Having a good day."
*"Pretty much. To tell the truth, it's been quiet lately, so I've been doing good enough."*
"Sounds pretty wonderful to me."
*"Yeah, but it seems to annoy Chi. She doesn't like it that I don't have 'business' going on right now, so she's complaining a lot. Don't be surprised if she comes to talk to you about it,"* the other girl warned, and sounded rather like she was nodding at the same time.
"We're both business women. I'm sure that we'll figure out some way to handle it."
*"That's what I'm afraid of."*
A grin passed by Nabiki's lips and she rubbed her nails onto her blouse. "Well, I'm going to make your day even better."
*"How? You don't have another deal, now do you?*
"Yohko, Yohko, Yohko.... Don't be so quick to judge. I have information for you."
*"And what would that be?"*
"Your husband's returning back to town. Ranma's coming back."
There was a bit of an expectation on Nabiki's part after she said the words. When she didn't get an immediate response, she understood, and expected that result. She knew that it would take several moments, and she waited patiently for what she knew would be coming.
*"OHMYGOD!"* Yohko screeched almost inarticulately, and at the top of her lungs.
Nabiki just held the phone at shoulder height, still able to perfectly hear the excited screams, and smirked, while:
