That was generally good, considering the fact that he had just gotten an umbrella smashed into the top of his skull. For his benefit, it wasn't exactly usual for teenaged boys to just up and decide that they wanted to hit him. But the fact that he had been bashed so hard that his face had wound up impacting the asphalt didn't change. Actually, he looked rather amusing, what with being balanced on only one foot, with the other held high into the air to counteract the effect of having his head on the ground.
It didn't exactly please him though, and that showed on his face as he whipped back up to a standing position. "What do you think you are doing, boy!"
"For denying me a rightful duel, causing me to have to travel far and wide on a misguided quest, and generally getting in my way, I'll make you pay," Ryoga growled, and pointed his umbrella back at the older man. "Prepare to die, Saotome!"
The swing came rather close to striking Genma, who wildly dodged and stared at the boy who'd tried to hit him with it. "Doubt it."
"You think we should go out to meet," Xianghua airily asked, glancing over at the pigtailed boy. "Or we should let them come to us?"
"Give them the chance to join us. Might be... fun."
"That can certainly agree on."
Rei wasn't about to argue with her Master, and obediently got into a ready position to await the arrival of:
