It was just that she didn't seem to have any sort of trouble in 'advising' him, which did tend to be something of challenge to deal with. That wasn't due to any real problem with what she said a lot of the time, as she did have a keen eye for judging situations. But the fact was that she also knew how to gently manipulate him, which she did more or less only to send him in the direction that he wanted to go anyway. His problem with it was that she never really came out and laid her cards out, which made it so that he couldn't ever be sure that she wasn't working out some plan or another.
With her as his slave, he'd never been all that capable of taking some of the requests that he'd gotten from other boys seriously. Of course, the idea of letting them 'borrow' his slave girl was absurd, and he didn't care if the stories about rich men giving the favors of full use slaves as 'entertainment' to guests. She might like to tease him a lot, but that didn't mean that he was going to treat her like a party favor, or a manga volume. He'd just take their winks and nudges, and let them keep on going with their perverted fantasies elsewhere.
Not that he could exactly blame them for finding her appealing, seeing as he knew what she looked like in a swimsuit. As an older girl, there was already a little bit of a... exotic flavor to her, and her keen mind and attitudes made her quite appealing. Still, it was her physical beauty that drew them, seeing as she had a supple form, with full breasts, a tiny waist, and the sort of shapely legs that boys drooled over when seen coming from a short skirt. Since she favored tight or skimpy outfits a lot of time, and didn't mind doing a playful tease from time to time, they were certainly looking favorably upon being with her.
But he knew that her own tempting smiles were merely games, and that she never 'put out' for any of the boys who half asked for even a little bit. Rather, she had the sort of intellect and mind that liked to work around issues and people, which he was finding was useful for him. Having a slave like her meant that he had someone who could not only help him with his schoolwork, but organize things for him, keep track of his money, and even do all sorts of 'official business' that he had to do when dealing with government offices or companies.
Having the ability to apply her intellect towards his problems was certainly helpful, and he rather thought that they made a good team. At the very least, she seemed to like him, what with how she was constantly treating him with her strange sort of affection. Even discounting the sort of accidents that happened when biologically unrelated boys and girls of a similar age lived together, there were plenty of times when he'd gotten a good look at just how curvy she was, and for much of it, he also was made aware that she was showing herself off to him. The reason might change from moment to moment, but it still made him jump for a lot of it.
If nothing else, having her around kept things... interesting, and he was already anticipating what would come when they were reunited, while:
