Ever since Mamoru had discovered that he was the reincarnation of Prince Endymion, things had been different. Sometimes, the changes were wonderful like hanging out with his beloved Usako. Other times things were horrible like when he was mind washed by Beryl. But sometimes, like right now, things were just plain embarrassing.
Mamoru didn't understand why this was happening to him. All he had been doing was taking Chibiusa to the park so that she could play. But then, things started to go crazy shortly after Mamoru and Chibiusa got to the park. Chibiusa had been playing in the sandbox by herself when all of a sudden a boy appeared in the sandbox. Literally, one second there was empty space and the next second the kid was standing in front of Chibiusa. The kid looked about Chibiusa's age and he had aquamarine colored hair with a little pigtail.
Considering Chibiusa's usual entrances, Mamoru wasn't too shocked at the boy's sudden appearance. What did surprise Mamoru was the boy and Chibiusa's reactions to each other. The boy started nervously scratching the back of his head and said, "Hi there Chibiusa."
To Mamoru's surprise, Chibiusa's eyes narrowed and she said, "Don't hey Chibiusa me Rando."
Rando put his hands in a placating gesture and replied, "Why are you so upset Chibiusa? I didn't miss out on anything important."
Chibiusa's temper started to boil as she hissed out, "Anything important, anything important? You missed our betrothal ceremony to go to that pit fight you idiot!"
Not realizing the immanent danger he was in, Rando foolishly retorted, "Like I said, I didn't miss anything important. Mother and Pops already drag me to enough stupid social functions. What's the harm in missing a few here and there?"
Immediately Mt. Chibiusa erupted when she heard this and she turned Luna-P into a giant mallet. Idiot corrector in hand, Chibiusa screamed as she chased Rando through the park, "Get back here so I can show you the harm in missing a few social functions!"
