Back in the Silver Millennium a great deal of information had been recorded about the Queen Senshi and the various little quirks that tended to manifest in the queens. One of the facts about new queens, while not exactly husde up, but definitely not talked about in polite society was that they generally tried to isolate themselves and their husbands from the rest of the world. The reason for this had never been investigated due to the fact that a new queen senshi of Mars had practically incinerated a scientist who had suggested that the new queen be monitored so as to find out the cause for this isolation.
Michiru was not one of those exceptions when it came to that particular quirk. As she leaned closer to Ranma without breaking off the kiss, Michiru started to subconsciously wish that she and Ranma could find a more private location than the alley they were currently in. Michiru’s magic responded to her desire by suddenly teleporting the couple to a location that Michiru subconsciously considered to be both private and isolated.
Orbiting Neptune a few hundred kilometers from its namesake and under heavy magical cloak was the grandest battle station ever constructed by the Silver Millennium: Triton Castle. Designed as the first line of defense against interstellar invaders, Charon Castle was out of phase with the rest of the solar system in order to protect the time gates, Triton Castle had enough weapons and armor to deal with an entire armada.
Roughly at the heart of this giant space fortress were the personal quarters of Neptune’s senshi. Ranma and Michiru suddenly found themselves on the bed in these quarters thanks to Michiru’s magic. The shock from their unexpected teleportation caused the duo to end their kiss and wordlessly look around at their new surroundings.
What grabbed Ranma’s attention the most about the room was the fact that it was practically one giant aquarium. The floor, the ceiling, and three of the walls of the room were made out of some kind of see through crystal that kept the water of the aquarium from pouring in. Due to the magic and the self-repairing abilities of Triton Castle the aquarium that surrounded the newlyweds wasn’t a graveyard but was teeming with life. With both awe and a bit of fear in his voice Ranma uttered, “Where on Earth are we?”
“We’re not on Earth.” Ranma then turned to look at Michiru who was currently laying her head on his chest while she spoke. “This is my bedroom on Triton Castle from the Silver Millennium. Triton Castle is orbiting Neptune so we are several million kilometers away from the closest person.” Michiru then raised her head slightly so that Ranma could see the predatory look in her eyes as she said, “And that’s just how I want it.”
