With the Great Will to aid him Ranma thought about the type of hero he wanted to be.
He put aside the Gold Diggers comic book he first wanted to use. He also discarded the idea of the Senshi kind of hero. There was no way in hell he wanted to be in one of those outfits. Besides the speeches reminded him of Kuno. Forget it. And there was that Tenchi guy in Okayama who had tremendous powers because he was part Jurian. We can't forget the alien women that live with him also.
Ranma's face lit up. He knew exactly the kind of hero he wanted to be and the one kind that was sorely missing on Earth. The Great Will also informed of an invasion of giant alien robots coming.
If there was one other thing that interested Ranma than the martial arts it was the mecha anime like Macross and GaoGaiGar and giant mecha. He loved watching those shows and any other like it. He used what little money he had (after Nabiki blackmailed half of it away from him and Genma stole almost the other half) to buy replicas and other stuff from the shows.
Ranma was glad because he would get to be around the giant mecha from the shows he loved to watch. Using the Great Will he made a gigantic undersea base and production facility and a place to get to it from land.
Now Ranma had to figure out what kind of giant mecha he wanted.
