After a long hard day of dealing with the old buzzards and the other thousand problems that always seemed to appear, Kiima was ready to go to bed. She gave weary nod to the two guards that were at the door to her room and then went inside. Once Kiima was in her room she took off her sword abd placed it by her bed before lying down and immediately falling asleep. She had been tired that she hadn’t even bothered to change into her nightclothes.
Under Kiima’s mattress was a small, black, half-circle shaped object that was about the size of a dinner plate. When the clock struck midnight, four evenly spaced holes opened up on the item. A purplish mist then shot out of the object and rapidly filled the entire bedroom. The guards stationed in front of Kiima’s room noticed the mist coming out from under the door. However, they fell unconscious before they could sound the alarm.
Four Phoenix warriors arrived at the door to Kiima’s room and they were all wearing gas masks. One of the masked warriors nudged the nearest guard with his foot. When the guard didn’t respond the warrior turned to his comrades and said, “Out like a hatchling just like Lord Inari said they would be.”
Another one of the masked warriors snorted and said, “Of course they are out. Lord Inari and Lady Izanami wouldn’t allow faulty equipment to be used on a mission that they deem to be important.”
The warrior who had spoken first shot the other one a glare and then said, “Let’s go take Kiima and get out of here. Also remember to keep your masks on. Lady Izanami’s children may grant us many benefits, but the knock-out gas that was used is strong enough to overwhelm even a platoon of Jaffa like us.” With that said the four Phoenix Jaffa then entered Kiima’s room and bound her unconscious body. Once Phoenix woma was bound the four immediately left the room with Kiima slung over the shoulders of one of them.
Using a long and winding route to avoid all non-Jaffa patrols, the four made their way down to one of the lesser used underground barracks. Once inside the four went into the center of the barracks and one of the warriors hit a hidden button on his belt. A series of rings then lowered around the four Jaffa and then transported them along with their package away.
