Missing Persons-Ecchi: Settling Down For The Night? [Episode 206733]

Ranma was not adapting well.

Nerves were frayed. Up until suppertime, things had sort of gone smoothly.

"Say ahhhhhhhhhhh," said Akane, holding up a bit of rice with chopsticks.

"I can eat on my own, ya know," grumbled Ranma as he nonetheless took the offering. It wasn't like Akane had COOKED it after all, it had been the team of Kasumi, Makoto, Dita, and Kaname.

Apparently cooperating and sharing a small kitchen. More weirdness.

"Of course, Mister Master," said Dita as she took her turn. "AHHHHHH!"

"Look, I'd be happier just feeding myself, okay?" tried Ranma after taking the morsel. "Ya all really outdone yerselves on fixing this all up, and I don't like being no bother."

"Oh, it's no bother," said Makoto as she refilled his tea.

"That ain't what I meant," complained Ranma.

"What did you mean, Master?" asked Akane.

"I can feed myself, okay," said Ranma before suiting action to words.

Akane felt more and more of herself drifting away softly in the breeze.

She understood somehow that this was real, that something vital about her was going away and being spread out.

Like butter over toast. No, that wasn't quite it.

"Who the blazes set this unit to produce 200 copies?!"

Akane looked up at the sky. She hadn't expected any kami to have that sort of voice, not that sort of declaration. "Hello?"

"Should we send a squad out after the thieves?" A different voice?

"Seal everything down as tight as possible. I sense the Wizard's hand in this. We'll have to move facilities soon."

"Hello?!" asked Akane again, though she had the feeling that her voice wasn't reaching those beyond the sky.

So tired. So very tired.

"What of this one? Oh dear, she's almost conscious again."

"Go ahead and finish this copy, then move them to the next location," ordered the feminine voice of what was apparently the chief among the gods. "It's just a copy itself."

"I'm not an 'it'," protested Akane as the sky grew dark and she felt herself softly melting into the grass. "I'm... oh nevermind."

Gendo Ikari didn't need the reports being shouted back and forth across the bridge to know that the situation had become untenable.

This nerve center of NERV shook every so often, as if by a massive earthquake.

"UNIT ONE'S BEEN HIT!" called out one of the NERV technicians. "Unknown energy beam. It's knocked systems offline."

"That was a warning shot," said an unfamiliar voice as a display changed.

"You're not an Angel," noted Gendo.

"I'd hardly think either of us qualify," said the bald man on the screen.

Another screen showed, showing one of the invaders from below.

"I think we should talk," said the guy in the armor.
