Schneider looked down on Shingo and he couldn’t help but want to curse his luck. Once again he was trapped within the mind and soul of a little boy. Except this time there was no escape for him. Unlike with Luche Dark Schneider wasn’t merged with Shingo, he WAS Shingo. Or rather one could say that he was only a reflection of the Shingo from long ago. Naturally, this pissed Schneider off to no end, but there was nothing that even HE could do about it.
Very quickly his frustrations were replaced with firm resolutions. He might just be an echo living inside Shingo’s head, but he’d rather be damned again then see HIS reincarnation turn into a slowwitted idiot like Luche. Schneider could sense that Shingo had inherited all of his magical powers even though they were mostly lying dormant for the moment within the boy. If he, thegreatest sorcerer ever, couldn’t get out into the world again then at least his reincarnation would be a worthy heir.
While looking down at Shingo Schneider said, “Alright kid here’s the deal. You’ve inherited all of my power, even though you most likely don’t deserve it, and I’m stuck in your mind without single babe to occupy my time. I am not about to let some snot-nosed brat recklessly use that power without knowing how to use it. So that means that you’re going to be learning how to wield magic from me. Consider yourself truly blessed kid, because not only are you the reincarnation of yours truly, but you will be taught by me as well.”
Two things were immediately obvious to Shingo. First, he apparently had had a huge ego in his past life and secondly, it was obvious that his past incarnation wanted to make sure that he knew magic. While Shingo didn’t care too much about the first thing, he was extremely happy about the idea of learning magic. Some of those spells he had seen being used in his memories were totally awesome.
Schneider saw the eager look on Shingo’s face and couldn’t help but feel proud. The kid looked exactly like he had all those years ago when he had first started to learn about magic. Obviously, this was a sign that the boy had the sense to take after him rather than that dunderhead Luche. “Okay kid,” Schneider said with a grin on his face, “Let’s gets started on your first lesson.”
