Shingo, unlike his big sister, was promptly woken up in the morning by the sound of his alarm clock going off. As the preteen lazily yawned and then turned off his alarm clock, he thought about the weird dream he had last night. Shingo shook his head and said, “What a wild dream. I mean, dreaming that I’m the reincarnation of some powerful wizard is definitely interesting. Of course, it’s only a dream because stuff like that doesn’t actually happen in real life.”
Suddenly Shingo heard Schneider’s voice talking to him. ((Get real kid. While it might be hard to comprehend that such a powerful and devilishly handsome man like I could exist, I am very real.))
“D-Dark Schneider,” Shingo said with his shock-filled voice, “How on Earth are you talking to me?” In that moment Shingo was shocked to the core as his world came down. If Dark Schneider was real, then everything that his past incarnation had said must be true as well.
Schneider then said in his supremely smug tone, ((Its simple kid. We share the same soul and when we came face to face in that dream our personas were pulled closer together. As a result of that I can now use your senses as well and talk to you. Just think of me as a wise voice in the back of your mind, that’s there to advise and instruct you.))
Shingo felt a headache start to form and he said, “Great! Just great! I get my own personal peanut gallery.” In his mind, Shingo was going over the advantages and disadvantages over his new situation. On the plus side, he was the reincarnation of a powerful wizard and had the potential to use the spells from his past life. On the other hand, he had said egotistical past life talking to him in his head.
((I AM NOT A PEANUT GALLERY BRAT!!!)) Dark Schneider roared in Shingo’s mind making the boy wish he could turn on the mute button. In a more composed manner Dark Schneider said, ((I am your past life and, due to circumstance, your teacher so show me the respect I deserve. And furthermore, don’t talk out loud when you want to talk with me. It just wouldn’t do for people to think that my reincarnation isn’t all there in the head.))
While pulling his nightshirt over his head Shingo replied, ((whatever DS.))
