“What the hell was that cat thinking?!” Normally Shingo didn’t use such foul language, his mother’s bar of soap saw to that, but at the moment Shingo didn’t care one iota about proper manners. Currently, Shingo was standing in the shadows with Laras sitting on his shoulder watching his sister, a.k.a. Sailor Moon, getting owned by several youma. At first, Usagi hadn’t been doing too badly against the single youma that was ramaging through the neighborhood, but then two more appeared and started to overwhelm her.
Shingo looked on at the scene and his fists clenched. His big sister had been thrown into this mess without any training on how to use her just barely discovered abilities as Sailor Moon. That stupid cat hadn’t even told her WHAT her magical abilities were until she was in the middle of the battle. Of course, that ‘Moon Tiara Magic’ attack was an embarrassment for all magical attacks, but Usagi should have been told about it before she entered the battle. At this rate, Usagi was going to end up dead within minutes.
It would be a cold day in Hell before Shingo would let Usagi die. Due to his relationship with Dark Schneider, the young boy had been rapidly learning years’ worth of magical lore in just days. There was no way that Shingo would just stand by and let his sister get pummeled like she was. Rose boy had made it very clear to Shingo that his sister wasn’t going to get any other useful allies except for him anytime soon. Shingo then turned to Laras and said, “Get off, Laras, I’m going to go save Usagi.”
Laras nodded his head and said, “Being a brother myself I understand Shingo. However, you can’t fight like you are. Yes it will be easy for you to defeat these enemies, but if they see your face, whoever is behind these attacks won’t have any trouble identifiying you and WILL target your family. Usagi has a magical disguise field with that uniform to protect her identity, but you don’t.” There was a great deal of worry in the lizard’s voice as he didn’t want anything to happen to the Tsukino family. The family had quickly grown on Laras, particularly Shingo who was far easier to like then his past incarnation of Dark Schneider.
Shingo look at Laras and then said in a confident voice, “I know that, Laras, but just remember who you’re dealing with here. DS and I have whipped up a little spell that should protect my family and give our readers what they want.” The air around Shingo started to become saturated with magic as the boy started to chant. “Inside my mind a thousand years of darkness know the truth, MONSTER’S LOOSE!” Immediately, Shingo’s form started to glow and his body started to grow. Within seconds Dark Schneider’s nude form was standing where Shingo had once stood.
