"Very well," Cologne said. "If the girls agree, then you may challenge them."
"Hold up," Ranma interjected. "I have an objection. Like what the hell you think you're doing, Shampoo? You can't have me so you're going to attack any girl that I might want to be with just to try and take your frustrations out on them? That's bullshit!"
"Ranma, we can handle this," Kanu said soothingly.
"I know that," Ranma snapped. "You shouldn't have to handle this. She's not a Fighter and she shouldn't have to be your problem."
"Excuse me," Chou'un spoke up. "But if she is your problem, Ranma-sama, and as your girlfriends, that makes her our problem as well."
"Fine," Ranma said curtly. "If you wanna mop the floor with her, that's your call. No Kiss of Death when Shampoo gets her ass kicked, right Old Ghoul?"
"That sure of the outcome, are you, Ranma?" Cologne raised an eyebrow.
"You betcha," Ranma answered confidently. "You sayin' you're not?"
Cologne sniffed in answer.
"Very well," Cologne spoke. "Shampoo, you know the Kiss of Death doesn't apply to those under the Fate." Turning to Kanu and Chou'un, she continued. "I only ask that you don't kill or permanently injure each other. Does that work for you, Ranma?"
"Fine by me, Old Ghoul," Ranma shrugged.
"She the one that turns into a cat?" Kanu asked Ranma.
"Yeah," Ranma answered with a slight shudder.
"I'll try not to dump her in the koi pond then," Kanu smirked.
"Excuse me," Nodoka interrupted with Goei along side. "Ranma, who are these people?"
"This is Elder Cologne, her great granddaughter, Shampoo," Ranma's eyes took on a wicked glint here, "and that's Mousse, Shampoo's boyfriend."
"What?!?" Shampoo screeched. "Stupid Duck-boy not Shampoo's boyfriend!"
"Oh Shampoo!" Mousse crowed happily, glomping Goei. "I knew you would someday return my love!"
"Hey! Let go of my momma!" Hakufu protested.
"Silence, Daughter!" Goei commanded, before purring to Mousse. "Oh my, what an energetic young man! And so cute too!"
Mousse's glasses slipped off his the top of his head and fell down over his eyes, allowing him to see who he was glomping.
"Gah! You're not my Shampoo!" Mousse squeaked and tried to let go, only to find Goei holding on to him like a limpet while somehow managing to grope him all over. "Hey! Don't touched that! Leggo ya, ya old hag!"
"Well, he's screwed," Hakufu commented as Goei froze, her glasses glinting with an evil light. "Momma's gonna kick his ass now."
"Did you just call me an 'Old Hag'?" Goei asked coolly.
"So what if I did?" Mousse snapped, ever the blind one in more ways than one. "Let me go!"
"Well, boy, you just stepped over a line you really didn't want to cross," Goei said in a icy tone. "Didn't your mother teach you any manners? I guess I'll just have to punish you myself."
To everyone's shock, Goei suddenly had Mousse across her lap with his pants done and robes up to expose his bare bottom. She then began spanking said bottom with her trusty rug beater.
"Ow! Hey! Stop that! It hurts!" Mousse cried out as the rug beater descended again and a gain, leaving reddening welts over Mousse's ass. Struggle as he might he was unable to get away from Goei's onslaught and finally the pain and humiliation got to be too much for him. Mousse began bawling like a small child and blubbering apologies while tears poured down his cheeks in a manner reminiscent of a certain Tendo patriarch.
"Now that, he had coming," Cologne cackled.
"It'd be funny if it wasn't so pathetic," Ranma observed. "Fu-chan, your mom is scary."
"You can say that again," Hakufu giggled.
"Now then, can someone please tell me what's going on here?" Nodoka prompted.
"Well, these are the Chinese Amazon's I told you about," Ranma continued. "I dunno what they're doin' here. The ol—" Ranma glanced over at the still-blubbering Mousse who was now sitting in Goei's lap like an overgrown three year-old being comforted after a spanking. Was he actually sucking his thumb? Ranma shuddered. "Um...that is, Elder Cologne here hadn't gotten to that before Shampoo decided to pick a fight with Kan-chan and Un-chan. Kan-chan was about to kick her ass so we could find out why they are here."
"I see," Nodoka said. "Well, girls, if you must fight, then I expect you to respect Kokin's home and property. If you damage anything I expect you to fix it. Understood?"
"Certainly, Saotome-sa—" Kanu stopped as Nodoka's eyes flashed in a similar way to Goei's even though she didn't wear glasses. "Um...that is, Okasan. I'll try not to damage anything."
Cologne chuckled at the antics of the two sisters. They would have made good Amazons.
"Perhaps we should make this an unarmed match so as to reduce the damage to the grounds," Cologne suggested.
"Works for me," Kanu nodded, handing Seiryuutou to Ranma. "I don't need a weapon to defeat the air-head over there."
"Heh, you be wishing you kept polearm when Shampoo beating you like drum," Shampoo taunted, putting away her chui.
"Why don't you say that after you've laid a finger on me?" Kanu snorted in disdain.
"Enough talk, we is fight!" Shampoo declared.
Shampoo leapt into the air, opening up with a flying kick. Kanu easily step to the side to avoid it and countered with a chop aimed at the back of Shampoo's neck as she landed just past Kanu. Shampoo rolled forward to avoid the strike and sprang back to her feet. Without pausing, she immediately charged Kanu.
Shampoo began throwing punches and kicks in rapid succession at her opponent, but Kanu proved to be an illusive target as she weaved out of the way of the strikes. The Amazon kept up the intensity of her assault but she was growing frustrated with her inability to hit the older girl.
Finally Kanu spotted a hole in the Amazon's defense and lashed out with a ki-boosted palm strike to Shampoo's diaphragm. The front of Shampoo's dress disintegrated as the ki technique detonated. The air exploded from her lungs and the Amazon was sent flying backward to land her back before sliding several meters in the grass.
"She got her!" Hakufu cheered. "Way to go Kan-chan!"
"Shampoo!" Mousse cried out in concern.
"Stay out of it, boy," Cologne warned him. "You know the penalty for interfering in a fight between women."
Mousse looked like he wanted to protest, but backed down. There were some lines even he wouldn't cross.
"Shampoo, my love! Get up and kick her ass!" Mousse shouted instead.
Shampoo forced herself to her feet after getting her breath back and faced off against her opponent a little more warily.
"I'm surprised you can get up after that, little girl," Kanu smirked. "I was starting to get disappointed that the Amazon village champion was so weak."
"Shampoo no is weak!" Shampoo snarled. "This time is for real!"
Shampoo ran at Kanu launching a powerful kick at the older girl's head. To her shock, Kanu caught her ankle in on hand, stopping her attack dead. Kanu then countered with three high-speed kicks to Shampoo's gut, chest, and face, again sending the Amazon flying to land, skidding across the ground in a heap.
The tall girl walked over to where the Amazon was curled up on the ground, retching and looked down at her. Shampoo looked up at Kanu, blood running from her nose and mouth as she prepared for an attack.
"It's over," Kanu said. "It's obvious who the better warrior is."
With that, Kanu turned around and walked back toward the others. Kanu hadn't covered more than half the distance before Shampoo sprang up and charged her with an inarticulate scream. Shampoo jumped up and fired a kick at Kanu's back, but Kanu spun to the side at the last instant, countering with a spinning back fist ki attack which connected with Shampoo's lower back as she passed by still in the air. Again, the ki technique detonated on contact, destroying the back of Shampoo's dress and launching the Amazon flying forward with a scream to land skidding on her breasts just short of her great grandmother.
Cologne looked down at her great granddaughter and shook her head as the girl convulsed. Shampoo was now clad in only her panties and the top portion of her dress that only covered the top half of her breasts.
"I'd say she's proven herself worthy of Ranma, wouldn't you, Shampoo?" Cologne asked wryly. "That's an interesting technique you have there, girl."
"It's just a basic ki strike," Kanu shrugged. "It's one of the first techniques my sensei taught me."
"Basic maybe, but effective nonetheless," Cologne remarked.
"Basics!" Hakufu cheered, kicking high into the air. "That was awesome Kan-chan. You're so strong! I can't wait to fight you!"
"Down, Fu-chan," Ranma chuckled. "You're not ready for that yet. Besides, Elder Cologne was about to tell us why she's here. I know she didn't come by just to say the Kiss of Marriage didn't count."
