Lamp Of Mihoshi: Woundhealer's Story [Episode 208547]

"So what's it do?" asked Ranma, figuring he never HAD to use it.

"Uhm, let's see," said Mihoshi, clicking one of the popup screens that was mainly concealing her from view.

Whose flesh the Sword of Mercy hurts has drawn no breath,
Whose soul it heals has wandered in the night,
Has paid the summing of all debts in death,
Has turned to see returning light.

"What's that mean?" asked Ranma.

"Yeah, that wasn't really helpful," said Mihoshi. "Let's see. How about this?"

click whirrrr

Ranma raised an eyebrow at the clockwork skull that appeared, made a noise like clearing a throat that it didn't actually have, and began to speak.

Woundhealer is also called the Sword of Mercy, and less frequently, the Sword of Love, and even more infrequently, the Sword of Healing.

Woundhealer can cut and hack inanimate matter as well as any other razor edged indestructible sword might, however its true powers are in its ability to heal.

Woundhealer's powers are such that it can cure diseases, curses, genetic disorders, knit broken bones, restore tissue, repair mental or psychological problems, regenerate lost limbs, and so on. It cannot restore youth or bring back the dead.

To utilize Woundhealer's powers, the blade must penetrate the flesh of the one who is to benefit of the healing power.

Note that there may be some minor alterations in performance due to Woundhealer being removed from the universe of its creation and placed in another universe entirely.

"Huh," said Ranma. He wasn't inclined to stick a sword in himself unless he had really good evidence that it would work as advertised.
