Cheetah 1/2: Blessed by the Goddesses [Episode 20876]

by Red Priest of the 17th Order

Bast looked up from the viewing pool and turned her head over to the other goddesses. "And who is next ladies?"

Sif, warrior goddess stepped forward to the small viewing pool. The image was Ranma running. "After much consider ation, I have decided Ranma needs a weapon of magical origins."

"Why a magical weapon?" Bast asked.

"Because it will give him an edge over the competition." Sif answered.

"And what weapon will you give to Rrranma?" Bast asked.

"Better not be anything my great-great-great-great-grandson will poke his eye out on." Kishijoten warned.

Smiling, Sif said, "I shall give Ranma a copy of the Sword of Omens, the weapon of the Thundercats. It keeps up with the feline theme."

Bast smiled. "Excellent!"

The viewing pool showed Ranma running about, but suddenly tripping on the Sword of Omens, and the inertia of his run sending him through three parked cars.

Bast winced. "That had to hurrrt..."

Amaretsu frowned. "Nice going, Sif."

"Well, at least he's got it. See, look at the viewing pool. He's taking it with him!"

Indeed. The image in the viewing pool showed Ranma holding onto the Sword of Omens, and then breaking out into another run. *ZIP! ZOOM! ZING!*

Seeing Ranma was okay, (having Lycanthrope healing abilities and regenration is really damn useful) Freya stepped forward to the viewing pool. "I shall grant Ranma full knowledge of the Marital Arts. After all, Anything Goes and Neko-Ken are very useful for him, but he could also benefit greatly from full knowledge of Amazon Wushuu, Kempo, Tae Kwon Do, Kobojutsu, Shotokan Karate, Hakkyokuseiken, and Ninjitsu, just to name a few."

The image in the viewing pool showed Ranma coming to a halt in his run. He blinked a few times, shrugged his shoulders, and ran off. The women that were in the area sighed longingly.

Bast chuckled at the image. "Sigh... With the Sex-appeal enhancement I gave him, he damn better give me some werecheetah cubs soon, us damn it!"

Amaterasu stepped forward. "Cute gifts, ladies... But I'll give him something unique. The Lady Sun's Gaze ability!"

The other goddesses stared at Amaretsu. "THE WHAT?" Athena said.

Frowning at the Greek goddess of prudicial warfare, Amaretsu explained. "The Lady Sun's Gaze is the ability to see anything that is invisible and see through illusions. Such as the glamour spells the Senshi have on their outfits."

"Ohhhhhhhh..." Was the collective thought of the other goddesses. Amaretsu, Japanese goddess of the sun, just slapped herself in the face.

Then, it was Athena's turn. Walking up to the viewing pool, Athena poutind, and narrowed her eyebrows in though. She then smiled as a thought occured to her. "I KNOW! I'll give him the Wisdom of the Ages, it's the equivalent of bardic knowledge in D&D!"

The others looked at Athena. "THAT'S IT?"

Athena blinked. "Isn't it enough."

"Athena..." Amaretsu began. "ANY SHMUCK WITH THIRTY BUCKS COULD GO AND BUY A D&D MANUAL FOR THE SAME DAMN INFORMATION!!!"

Athena blinked in surprise. "Then what would YOU have me give him, Amaretsu?"

"I KNOW!" Kishijoten chimed in. "Father gave you his Aegis Shield, right?"

Sif nodded her head. "Hey, that would go great with the Sword of Omens!"

"But I can't give that to Ranma!" Athena protested. "He only gave me the Aegis Sheila to borrow."

"Come on." Bast said. "You RARELY use it nowadays. All you do is bring it out everrry so often to club yourrr brother Ares overrr the head with it..."

"But I..." Athena said, to which the other goddess started bucking like chickens. "HEY! I am NOT chicken!"

"Yes you are!" Sif said.

"Chicken, chicken, CHICKEN!" Amaretsu taunted.

"I AM NOT CHICKEN!!!" Athena screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Then prove it, and give him the Aegis Shield." Kishijoten said.

Athena growled. "FINE! But if Father finds out, I am *NOT* to blame, GOT IT!?"

The other goddess nodded their heads.

The image of Ranma running about Tokyo in the viewing pool was an interesting one. He was minding his own business, when a shield goes flying from out of nowhere and smashes him across the head.

"... Okay... No one gives him anymore weapons. We don't wanna kill him" Bast said, to which the other goddesses nodded their heads. Healing abilites or not, that HAD to hurt!

Finally, it was Kishijoten's turn. My gift is a simple, but useful one. I'll give Ranma the power of Luck!"

"What? You mean, like he can pull a coupel of numbers out of his ass and win the lottery?" Sif asked.

"No silly," Kishijoten said. "It works only when he uses it for unselfish purposes. Like when he's trying to help someone."

Amaretsu blinked. "Well, that sucks..."

"Not so." Kishijoten said. "Ranma ends up helping so many people, that he could use a bit of luck on his side."

"Well, if that's all..." Bast said. "Then let's watch Ranma and see how he does..."

"HOLD!!!" Came a voice. The goddesses turned their heads to it. They saw a bipedal lioness, clad in gold armor of Egyptian origin. Her skin was the darkest ebony like her fur. It was the Egyptian goddess of war and vengeance. Almost a vampire goddess , considering her lust for blood. She was Sehkmet. Also known as...

"SIS!" Bast said. "I'm so glad you could make it! Does this mean you want to give Ranma a gift too?"

Sehkmet smirked. "Well Bastet... I couldn't help but become interested in the message you sent me... After all, not every day a werecheetah pops up into existence."

"I know!" Bast said excitedly.

Still smiling, and showing off her long, sharp canines Sehkmet said, "Especially for me. You do kow that he was inspired by 'Gold Digger', right?"

Nodding her head, Bast said, "Of course."

"And don't you remember... That is MY plane of influence..." Sehkmet said, studying the claws on her left hand.

Bast nodded her head, trying to figure out what Sehkmet was hinting at. Her eyes then widened and a huge smile graced her cute cat-like face. "Are you thinking what I think you're thinking?"

"Of course!" Sehkmet said. "Why not let Ranma meet his heroes, the Diggers," Smirking she said, "After all, we can combine out might to put the Diggers and their history onto the same plane of existence as Ranma so we can let him spread his seed to certain women, hmm? After all, a lot of them don't need much convincing, and with the sex-appeal enhancement you put on him..."

Bast threw her arms up in the air. "WAI! CUTE LITTLE WERECHEETAH BABIES JUST FOR ME! WAI! WAI!!!" Bast cheered as she ran around the area, going into a fit that would make Nodoka Saotome proud.

Sweat-drops appeared on the sides of the other goddess's heads.

Then, a sudden thought hit Kishijoten. "Wait... Ranma IS of my blood... So that means..." A huge smile appeared on Kishijoten's face. She threw her hands up in the air and screamed, "WAI! I'M GONNA BE A GREAT-GREAT-GREAT-GREAT-GREAT-GRANDMOTHER! WAI! WAI!!!"

*ZIP! ZOOM! ZING!*

Ranma was running along at 90 mph as he studied the sword and shield. He still had a throbbing headache from when the shield hit him, (these were magical items after all) but other than that, he was very curious. Who would just leave these in an area for him to find?

So deep in thought was Ranma that he didn't realize the area around him that he was running changed... And that he was now in suburb of Decatur in Atlanta, Georgia...

(------)

The students of Armsmaster Julia Brigand-Diggers: Gar, Luan, Karla, and recently Britanny, looked over their work with pride.

Gar, Luan, and Karla had worked hard to make the Shundosai as beautiful as possible. Using their own hands as their tools of craft, they worked night and day to complete the Shundosai, to make it a working dojo and live-in work of art as well.

Britanny looked over the pyramid she was forced to construct. So she spent $4,000 over the limit of her mom's credit card... So she made a prank phone call to help lighten the mood... That wasn't any reason for her mother to get mad and make her build a pyramid all by herself, right?

Right?

Right...

However, their pride in their work, and happiness that their punishments were over, were cut dramatically short...

*ZIP! ZOOM! ZING!* *CRASH*

There goes the Shundosai, blowing apart into splinters as an incredibly fast projectile smashes through it.

*ZIP! ZOOM! THUD!!!*

However, the projectile was neither fast, nor dense enough to crumble Britanny's pyramid. Britanny had to admit, she was surprised a good chunk of the base was destroyed.

Gar, Luan, and Carla stood in shock. Their work. Their punishment. Over two weeks of blood, sweat, and tears... GONE!!!

Britanny, however, did not have a problem. She went over to see what had destroyed the Shundosai...

And was very surprised to see a male werecheetah rubbing his head.
