"You ARE trying to fix me up with that samurai!!" Ryoga yelled on the news in a secluded part of the high school campus the students ate out on.
Ranma set a picnic basket down before the girl in just her rough shirt. "I'm tryin' to get you the best date for you I can!"
"I don't WANT that Kuno jerk! I want-NO!! I don't mean that I want...It was supposed to be just you and me, Ranma! No one else was supposed to know what we were doing! AAA! That's sounds wrong, too!!"
"And we will have our time alone, together, Ryoga. We can ditch Kuno. But first we need his money, and his knowledge."
"What are you talking about, Ranma!? That idiot doesn't know anything!"
"He knows one thing that neither or us know. He knows how to date."
"That's not true, Ranma!! You're trying to trick me! You've been on dates before-With Kuno! -You cheated on dear, sweet Akane! More than once! Lots of times! That's what you do!
"Oh, I see your "lesson" plan, now." Her paranoia was emerging. "You want me to cheat on Akane, too. You want to say I've been just like you. Well, it won't work, RANMA! I'll-UNGMPH!"
This time when Ryoga attacked him, Ranma shoved something in her still raging mouth. The food quite literally took her breath away. More morsels were waiting. They shared their first meal together as a couple, Ranma feeding her by hand. "I took Kuno's lunch from Sasuke. (The little ninja owes me.) It's French. The "Local Lord" orders this sorta stuff all the time. As a girl, I wasn't payin' attention to nothing but the exits. I don't know all the stuff a guy does to manage a date. There's gotta be a technique, and I want to learn it!" It was a vow. And it was an excuse to placate Ryoga's girl-side.
The better reasons had to wait until Ryoga was in the proper mood to hear them.
