"You had me eat SNAILS? I've been hungry enough to eat many disgusting things, but I've never eaten snails!" One of Ryoga's hands was on her stomach, the other was pulling the hem of her man's shirt as they walked across the school's grassy area.
"It's all the sauce, Kuno says. Maybe if you can find out the recipe, you'll be able to pour the stuff on those disgusting things and eat more when you're lost in the wild, Ryoga."
"Hey, there's an idea."
"The girl is supposed to know how to cook," Ranma teased.
"I'm not going to be your girl, Ranma!"
"Then why go on this...date with this libertine and cad?" Kuno's voice was still hoarse from swallowing his sword, and nearly a chalk eraser.
"I'm not going to be your girl, either, Samurai Boy!"
"I never said I wanted you to be, whoever you are. But the more you rebel against the undeniable attraction you feel towards me, the more interested I'm becoming." He began to lose his "magnificent" voice. He snapped his fingers and his little manservant appeared out of nowhere, bringing a cup of honeyed tea.
"Way to go, Ryoga. You turn him off by being nice to him," Ranma whispered.
"You're one to talk!" the girl's whisper was louder.
"You're right. It's real hard to be nice to the jerk. But give it a try." Then he grinned wickedly at her. "You thought my plan was for him to make you his target like me and Akane. I'd win, then, if he does."
"For Akane's sake, I would volunteer for that duty."
"Aw, man! Ryoga, don't mess with the premise!" The whispering was forgotten. "One of the reasons we're goin' on a date with Kuno is to get revenge. Akane's, too."
"Date!? I agreed to no date!" The arrogant lord heard only that word.
"He didn't!?" Ryoga glared at Ranma. He'd put her through all that trauma over accepting the date with another guy before he was sure there would be one!!?
"Kuno, your standing challenge is that you'll date whatever girl defeats you."
"Uh, that is true. But one has yet to claim her trophy afterwards."
"Are you saying I have to WIN the stupid date!!?!" the bandanna girl cried.
