General Hammond and SG-1 were standing in Carter’s lab looking at the small make-up kit looking device on the table. The device had been collected by security several hours ago after Jack had called for a pick-up because he didn’t want to leave a possibly alien device lying around unprotected. During the intervening time Jack had been visiting the Napoleon in high heels so he could be subjected to a battery of tests while Sam analyzed the device.
Looking up from her computer screen Sam said, “I’ve analyzed the device and I can tell you with complete certainty that it is not a Goa’uld device. In fact, the device isn’t related to any Ancient or Asgard technology that I know about. What I can tell you is that it does appear to be a communication device and that it seems to draw its power from some sort of unknown energy field.”
Hammond nodded his head and said, “And Doctor Frasier hasn’t been able to find anything in her tests to explain why Col. O’Neill has been demonstrating these unusual abilities.” The General turned to face Jack and then said, “In fact Col. Doctor Frasier says you’re perfectly fine and that you’re just as healthy as you were before you first put on the armband.”
Teal’c then said, “Perhaps O’Neill should contact this Sailor Pluto. With Doctor Frasier being unable to explain the Colonel’s new talents this Sailor Pluto may be our only source of information. Since this device is not of Goa’uld origin we might be able to gain a new ally.”
Hammond nodded his head and said, “That is an important point Teal’c.” The general then turned to face Jack and said, “Colonel I want you to contact this Sailor Pluto. Hopefully she can explain what’s going on.”
Jack nodded his head and walked over to where the communication device was at on the workbench. He then flipped the lid open and said, “Sailor Pluto? This is Col. Jack O’Neill of Stargate Command come in.”
