Ranma relaxed in the living room in silence, save for the quiet noise of the television program Kasumi was watching.
She had broken the news about the curse only a few minutes ago and the rest of the house hold were sorting things out. To be honest it had gone better than she had expected.
The two idiots had reacted in the usual manor. Her father had bemoaned his child’s weakness in becoming stuck as a girl. While Mr Tendo had announced that if no cure could be found he would marry Ranma.
The very thought of it brought chills down her spine.
Kasumi had taken with a quiet oh my and asked if she had gotten in a fight with a dragon again, while Nabiki just sat there thinking it over.
Akane on the other seemed tired. As if she expected something like this to happen. Was it really that unsurprising?
The sound of a gasp of horror from Nabiki as she stared at the television with Akane and Kasumi in mute horror drew Ranma’s attention. On the screen was a large green purple and grey machine wielding what appeared to be a glowing blue sabre.
“… It appears that cause of the destruction is these robots.” The news reader reported fearfully as a police car flew over his head. “Just what these robots are and what their purpose is is currently unknown.”
At that the camera pan showing another three giant robots destroying a series of buildings, when something caught Ranma’s eye.
Somehow she knew that whatever she just saw she couldn’t let it get into the hands of these robots. She wasn’t sure just why, but she knew she would have to go there herself.
With the thought of making it to the area as fast as she could she didn’t notice Nabiki turn her way as she rushed out of the house.

Meanwhile deep in space, in a place no one had entered in millions of years an intruder had been detected.
The room lit up revealing the strange organic material of the room. Strange tentacles lined the floor of the room while in the centre hung a large egg like piece of bio material, pieces of it would light up at seemingly random intervals.
“Who dares disturb Unicron?” Boomed a dark deep voice that seemed to emanate from all around the room.
“I have.” The owner of the voice was large even by transformer standards. The transformer was almost too large to stand in the room. “I have come with a proposition for you Unicron.”
“And what do you want?”
“I came to see if you would wish to ally your self with me.” He replied as the tentacles wrapped around his large frame making him immobile. “I felt it would be more… beneficial to have you working for me than to destroy you. After all as it stand our goals are mutually exclusive, I thought we would, negotiate.”
“Well I guess you thought wrong. Besides how would you destroy me? You’re welcome to try, all you would do would to feed me. I have no need for allies.”
“Fine, if you won’t serve me…” The figure finished as he tilted his head. “Overlord!” He commanded as a sudden bright flash of power lashed out at the egg.
A loud cry of pain could be heard throughout the room. “You really thought I would feed you? Your nothing, not even fit to serve me! And as you are you can’t defend yourself from this!” the figure growled out angrily as it broke from the bonds as he raised a clawed hand, a large black sphere was inside with purple shooting from it.

On Cybertron all transformers looked up to the sky as the moon was suddenly sucked into itself, all traces of it disappearing.
Both Autobot and Decepticon suspected the other of developing a new weapon as both sides started to prepare for when the other side chose to unleash its new weapon.
