Unknown to Ranma on her way to the scene of destruction the Decepticons destruction was being shown worldwide.
At Autobot HQ Jetfire was ordering an immediate sortie. He knew that even with Optimus out of the fight he would be able to win the day easily.

Arriving on the scene Ranma gaped openly at the destruction that had been caused by the giant robots already. The airport was totalled.
She wasn't sure why they had attacked an airport, but from the way they were moving it was obvious they were searching for something.
Wrecks of 747s still burned as they created a pile of destroyed machines as they searched through the air port.
It was painfully obvious she couldn't do anything against the sort of strength they were displaying. She doubted that even with her robot form she would do much more than annoy them.
Still after seeing that on the TV she had a feeling she could stop them. She just needed to find it.
Quickly deciding the best way to search for it would be in her robot form she tried to imitate the image in the booklet.
Crossing her wrists and hoping for the best Ranma let out a cry “Masterforce!” As she was bathed in light Ranma could feel the power flowing though her.
Quickly testing her muscles Ranma then moved to find it, hoping she wouldn't be caught before she could reach it.

Tossing another piece of human trash Starscream bit back a curse at the imbecilic Megatron. Were just wasting out time at this rate. He thought bitterly.
He doubted that there was really anything here and even if there was he wouldn't benefit from it unless he caught it himself.
Still it had been fun to watch those pathetic flesh creatures run screaming as he tossed their pathetic aircraft at them.
Just then he caught something moving out of the corner of his eye. Had on the humans came back to try something? Moving stealthily he moved to where he could see the creature.
My my, thought Starscream, today must be my lucky day. With this mini-con I'll be able to finally show Megatron just who is the strongest Decepticon in the universe!
He watched as the mini-con made its way towards a hanger near the back of the airport. Of course to reach the hanger the mini-con would have to cross an open area. Leaving him with the perfect chance to grab it before it had a chance to run away.
He quickly checked that none of the other Decepticons had noticed what he was doing or the mini-con. As he looked back he couldn't help but smile as it started to make its dash towards the hanger.
Without pause he leapt from behind some rubble straight at the mini-con. Laughing in triumph as it turned to him in horror as his hand reached out for it. There was no escape now for the mini-con!
