"So factoring in travel time, we should have 32 minutes to enjoy Bueno Nacho while still leaving a safe margin to get into Lost Universe II!" Ron declaired from where he stood beside Kim’s car.
"And yet he does poorly in math," Kim commented with a smile and a shake of her head as she sat in the drivers seat and pulled on her seatbelt.
"Allright!" Ron called as he fastened his own seatbelt. "Naco time!"
"Mmm, Naco!" Rufus declared from Ron's pocket.
Beep-Beep-Be-Beep
"Aw man!" Ron declared as a screen popped up in the Sloth's dashboard.
"What's the sitch Wade?" Kim asked.
"Drakken and Shego."
"Again?!" Kim and Ron declared in perfect unison. "Jinx! You owe me a soda!" Kim chimed as Ron was opening his mouth again.
Ron snapped his fingers in a small "I was so close" gesture. "Didn't those two have another caper the last time we tried to see Lost Universe II? Wait, maybe these capers are just a ploy to keep us from seeing Lost Universe II? KP, Drakkens going to try to summon the Lord of Nightmares!"
"Ron! Get a grip!"
"Well, I got what you wanted," Shego commented as she boredly inspected her nails through her gloves. "Why you want it, I've no idea."
"Hahaha, That's why I'm the genius and you're . . ." Drakken paused as Shego directed a mild scowl toward him with one raised eyebrow. "The invaluable assistant," he finished weakly. Turning toward the large crate Shego had brought, he began throwing aside packing materials. "Ah yes, here it is."
"So what's been stolen?" Kim asked.
Wade made a few keystrokes, and looked to Kim. "It was found at an archaeological dig a few months ago. A rough translation of it's name make it 'Bodigar; That Which Smashes'."
"That which smashes?" Kim responded in an amused tone.
Wade shrugged. "That's the best translation so far."
"Come on," Drakken muttered to himself as he knelt next to his large device. He looked up at where Bodigar was hooked into the device, it's handle extending above the cylindrical device built into the floor of the lair.
"Problems Dr. D?" Shego asked in a tone that perfectly conveyed the big smirk on her face.
"Zip it Shego!" Drakken snapped back in annoyance. He turned back to his controls. "When I compared my scans of Bodigar with the data I've gathered on the Pan Dimensional Vortex Inducer, The hawking radiation patterns are clearly a sign of amplified vacuum. . ." "Woop Woop!" Shego called while making a quick time out gesture with her hands. "I don't talk Geek."
"Rrrrr," Drakken growled. "There's something very powerful in this hammer thingy."
"It looked more like an axe to me." Shego responded.
Drakken scowled at her, then turned back to his invention. "I'm saying that if I can just figure out how to start it going, I can use it to power the ultimate doomsday weapon!"
"Well, we can't have that!" Kim's voice rang out as she dramatically kicked out the grate of the vent overhead and leapt to the floor of the lair.
"Kim Possible!" Drakken called out in response to the teens arrival.
"And don't forget," Ron called as he leaped out of the vent after Kim. "Ron Stoppable!" He finished as he landed next to Kim. Suddenly he blinked and looked down as he felt a familiar breeze. "Aw man! When did I lose my pants this time!"
"Yeah whatever," Drakken responded in a distracted tone.
"Is my name that hard to remember?" Ron asked rhetorically.
"Ron!" Kim called.
"I know, distraction time," Ron called as he ran to the left.
Kim turned right, then hopped back as Shego leapt in, slashing the air she had just vacated with her glow encased hands.
Ron knelt by the mechanism holding Bodigar. "Not sure what these controls do, but I'm pretty sure we just need to pull out this axe thingy." Reaching down, he grabbed the handle, and pulled, then pulled again as it remained immobile.
Kim hopped over a kick Shego had just thrust at her, and as she came down struck a punch that Shego leaned back to avoid. Refusing to give ground, Shego boosted the glow around hands and made a sweeping slash that Kim leapt back to avoid.
"HA!" Drakkens voice suddenly called as he pressed a button on the control panel by where he stood.
Kim gave a little shriek as a trap door suddenly opened beneath her.
Shego looked toward the pit. "I didn't need help." She declared as she walked to the edge.
Drakken smirked as he called back, "But you always complain when I don't offer it."
Looking down, Shego saw Kim's hands griping the edge of the pit. With a slight smile she threw two blasts, which splashed over the stone moments after Kim's hands pulled over the edge. An instant later there was a bang as Kim's grappling line fired out of the pit, and bit into the ceiling. Shego smirked as she looked at the ascending Kim Possible. "Falls early this year," Shego quipped as she raised and powered up her hand, targeting the grapplers line.
Ron watched Rufus look over the fittings holding Bodigar in place in the machine, and grinned as his pet casually bared his teeth and shredded the first chunk of steel. Then he heard a shriek that banished all other thoughts from his head. He whipped his head up, and saw Kim dropping into what had to be some sort of pit.
"KIM!" He called, his hand grabbing Bodigar's handle and using it to vault over the machine before running across the room toward where Kim and Shego were.
The instant Ron's hand grasped Bodigar's handle, there was a flash of light inside the machinery, from the opening where everyone assumed a blade had fallen out. Unnoticed by Ron, as he charged across the room the glow continued to grow brighter while.
Shego struck at the line, her hands tightened to claws, Green energy surrounding them.
Kim looked up, her mind looking for other tricks to keep from falling down the deep pit.
Ron looked at Shego as he ran, his mind realizing he wouldn't reach her in time.
Drakken watched, smiling at the possibility of a major success in his plans.
Suddenly the ground buckled and shook. Shego halted her attack to stop herself from loosing her balance, Kim's modified hairdryer pulling her into the air above her adversary in the moment.
"Hey, what. . ." Shego's protests died as she turned around and looked toward the source of the vibrations.
Bright light was pouring out of every opening of Drakkens device, while blue arcs of electricity cascaded across every metal surface. The light intensified as more parts of the casing cracked and fell away.
"What did you do!" Drakken screamed.
Ron raised both hands. "I didn't touch any of the controls!"
Suddenly the casing of the device shattered. The brightly glowing and wire encrusted Bodigar floated upward, the striking head of light blazing forth from it's side as the whole weapon was engulfed in an increasingly chaotic looking aura.
Drakken glanced at Shego. "I told you it was a hammer."
"We need to find you a new sword." Lina explained to Goury.
"No need for that," Xellos's voice announced a moment before the mazoku materialized, Goury's sword in his hands. "I was basically taking care of this for you Goury."
Goury excitedly took the sheathed blade. "Hey, it's my sword!"
"You just had to butt in." Lina commented with slight annoyance.
Xellos smiled at her, "Oh did I do something wrong?"
Feeling her cheeks color slightly, Lina shook her head and replied, "No, nothing. Where've you been anyway?"
Xellos raised a finger. "Oh, tying up some loose ends, annoying official duties and such."
"What?" Goury suddenly commented, taking the sword he had been resting against his shoulders and holding it by the sheath in front of him.
"Something wrong Goury?" Lina asked.
"Well, it's just. . ." Suddenly he snatched his hand back from the sheath as it began to smoke and vibrate intensely. Suddenly the sheath and steel blade shot downward, becoming embedded a foot and a half in the ground. The Sword of Light remained floating where it was, it's light blade fully extended as crimson lightning played across it's handle and a bright aura formed around it.
"Xellos what did you do!?" Lina screamed at the trickster priest.
Xellos floated silently, his eyes wide open in shock. "This is not something I did." He said simply.
