A shovel fell, and vanished into the chaos surrounding it. Not noticing, L-Sama continued staring at the two staves. Before her eyes, both were buckling, twisting, and shifting as two point on the worlds pulled at each other from afar.
"What's happening?" she commented, then directed her awareness to the two staves in question. "Oh, so one of Blues Madboys started playing with one of Dark's toys, and. . . Oh yes, Darks other toy that I had Ruby Eyes underling deliver to Lina's guy." She looked at the two worlds. "But I wouldn't have expected it to yank the worlds together."
L-Sama looked carefully at the two worlds again. "Hmm, Well it's hard to say what might happen now. It might just be a single glancing collision, might be a permanent assimilation, or both worlds might collapse. And from the looks of it, the outcome's delicate enough that the inhabitants themselves could tilt the outcome." She thought a moment, then smiled.
With a casual gesture she materialized a sofa, and a large tub of popcorn. "Of course, it would work better if they had some extra information." Looking to the Red world, she casually reached to the offshoots of Ceifeed and Shabranigdu, and gave them a basic understanding of what had happened, along with the instructions, "Pass it along as some sort of prophecy or something."
Then she frowned slightly while looking at the blue world. "You'd think those two would have come up with some sort of system for passing along a prophecy. Well, that is the world where they say in for a penny," she made a casual gesture toward the staff, "In for a penny." Grinning to herself, the Lord of Nightmares sat in her newly created sofa, picked up a handful of popcorn, and waited for the show to get underway.
In the Sun Ho Phat fortune cookie company, the janitor stopped pushing his broom and looked around him. Everywhere he looked, all the machinery had begun to radiate a golden glow that was growing brighter with every second. The broom clattering to the floor, he ran for the exit as the glow peaked then dissipated.
