Lamp Of Mihoshi/Ranma's Army: Mission Statement [Episode 211117]

There were a number of gynoids around Ranma know, each with abilities far beyond that which the girls that normally populated the areas around them. Each was special, and had something to contribute to the group, as they had been created for a purpose. Originally, they had been made to be a fighting force that could handle any sort of armed resistance that could be put against them. Yet, now that they had been activated, they were no longer needed as mere soldiers, and were available for other tasks.

That was part of the problem.

"Ya guys want some sort of 'mission' for us ta go on?" Ranma asked the group of gynoids looking at him.

"Correct," Rei confirmed, looking at him with that unwavering expression that she always had. "We were looking for orders."

Misato sighed and rolled her eyes. "What she means is that we are supposed to be working for you, but it's just like we're hanging around here."

"Ya don't like it?" he asked.

"Now that sure isn't what I meant. If anything, I'd like nothing better than to lay around and relax...."

"Oh...."

"Actually, we have no problems with whatever you want. It's just that... We were wondering what you might be aiming for. A goal, or something like that," Kiima put in.

"Ahh...."

"You probably don't have something like that...."

The pigtailed boy gave them a wide smirk. "Actually, I do."

"Really?"

"Sure as hell do. Why d'ya think that Pop and I are on this trip in the first place?"

His question got a shrug that made the wings on the gynoid bounce. "We didn't really want to make assumptions on that."

"Ya could do that if ya want. But the fact is that we're on a trainin' journey."

"You are?" Misato murmured.

"Yup. I'm gonna make sure that I'm the best martial artist that there is."

"That's your goal?"

"Sure is."

"We could help!" Misato declared, and grinned mightily. "Think about it. We're here to support you in any way that we can!"

For a long moment Ranma considered what she said... and then realized that she was right. With combat ready units, individuals who could take care of the camp, and others who'd be able to help them move along on their trip, he had the chance to get better with his Art. "Heck, if ya can do that, then I'd like ta have ya try."
