Krypto snurfled. Which if Genma didn't know better would have sounded like the dog was laughing at him. Which obviously could NOT be the case.
"Behold the dread technique of Japanese Restaraunt Chef-Fu that I picked up while paying for the Master's food bills by working at a restaraunt he'd stiffed." Genma rotated the two blades in wide arcs as if describing a crescent moon shape. "Ten Thousand Cuts! Ah-TAAAAAAAAA!"
Krypto backed up before the barrage, seeming to consider the certain doom headed his way for a moment and then blurring out of the way.
"You're not getting away!" bellowed Genma, pursuing.
Krypto stopped atop a fence, almost seeming to be waiting for Genma to get there, then leapt to the other side.
"HAAAA!" said Genma, smashing through the fence, his blades whirling around him. Leaves shredded, little pieces of bonsai tree flew through the air.
Genma got a good look at the little old man with the shears.
The little old man with the shears looked back for a moment.
"AGHHHHH!" yelled the little old man, keeling over in fright. "It's them again! The North Koreans are BACK!"
"Hey, I'm Japanese," grumped Genma before he spotted a flash of white on the other side of a fence again. "Excuse me. Lunch to catch!"
Genma leapt up. "Chef Fu finishing move - Knife Of The Eagle!" KA-THWOK!
Having seen the knife bury itself in a brief glimpse of white fur, Genma was grinning as he leapt the second fence.
The kids gathered around the table stared. The mother stared. The clown stared. If the large birthday cake on the table had had eyes, it might well have stared too.
Genma looked down at the paper mache donkey and pulled his knife free. It came out with a candy. "Hmmmm." RIP! "What the heck is this?"
"It's called a pinata," said the clown.
"Oh," said Genma before slinging the candy-filled object under one arm, grabbing the cake with the other, and then leaping over the fence. Best if he got out of here at this point, he could always go after the dog later.
