Moon Prince: 2nd treasure, Hitomi's 3rd [Episode 21115]

A third bottle of "Demon's Breath" sake joined its decidedly empty brothers as Hitomi wiped her mouth and eyed Soun. She knew just how to convince him, or at least wear him out enough that he wouldn't protest, to go through with the wedding.

This time there would be no escape.

Soun watched as another box was excavated.

"Look, aren't all these things missing from the Japanese Imperial Treasure Vaults?" A worker called out as the box was opened. "Look here - missing records from prior to the Tokugawa era! Ancient scrolls. Historical... oh my dear kami... he's doodled on them!"

Soun's tear trails marked the dust as photographers began flashing pictures of ancient items retrieved from beneath his dojo. Hey, wait. Since they were found on his property, maybe he could get a reward?

Genma was a sneak, a louse, a poor bargainer, greedy, self-absorbed, had a Wisdom score of 4, and had several personal habits so disgusting that they never appeared in either the manga or anime.

Yet it was also true that he had survived training under Happosai, that he had created two schools of martial arts, and could at least briefly hold his own against Ranma or Happosai. Unlike Soun who relied on the Demon Head technique with few exceptions.

So he was a greedy self absorbed twit, but he was a formidable self-absorbed twit.

Which was why the various Outers, creditors, outraged shopkeepers, and local police all suddenly found themselves in a dead end alley with no sign of Genma Saotome to be found. Or even an overweight panda.
