But he could make them understand. All he had to do waould be to find someone to make them understand. If only his son had married Akane, then he could have retired and dealt with all the debts that he had incurred. Instead, he had been forced to put all his effort into trying to insure his legacy before the end of his days. That, combined with the monies that he ws sure that would roll in once Ranma started training students would allow Genma the luxury to pay off his creditors at his leisure.
Unfortunately, he didn't have anyone who could make them understand that fact. Which meant that he would have to find such a person and convince them to help him. Once that happened, he was certain that all these people would see that he was right and that he would take care of them once he could.
Having used this logic to convince himself of his course, Genma headed out, trying to figure out who would be the right person to help him clear up this mess. It wasn't like it was his fault, right?
And while Genma make his ways through the shadows to find a patsy.., er... a helper,:
