The first thing Shampoo noticed as she awoke was that she was lying on something flat and hard. Opening her eyes, she realized it was the floor. Close to her head was something covered in dark fur, a purple so dark it was almost black.
As she started to get up, she noticed that she was lying on her summoning circle, and that a sheet of paper with writing on it was lying nearby. Everything she had done prior to passing out came back to her - and just in time to stop her from panicking when she realized that the furry thing she had noticed was her arm.
Even as it was, it was rather strange seeing a part of her body covered in fur while she had human proportions (and having that fur not be pink or white). She looked down at her body. The same fur covered her wherever her clothes didn't (and presumably continued under her clothes). He shoes had came off, and she could see that her feet were now slightly larger than they had been before, including larger furry toes ending in claws. Looking at her hands, she found that her palms were bare of fur, and that her fingers ended in claws.
Wanting to get a better look at herself, she started to head out of the room to find a mirror, but stopped herself before she stepped out of the circle. She glanced around to make sure the demon was gone, then picked up the contract off the floor. Satisfied that it was safe to leave the circle, she stepped out of the circle and headed to the door.
As she walked, she felt her tail swinging behind her; it took her a few moments to register that she normally wouldn't have a tail when not a cat. She stopped and looked over her shoulder; a long fluffy tail with two white stripes running down it stuck out of her skirt behind her.
"So, the demon went with a skunk," Shampoo thought, smirking slightly at the absurdity of the sight of a big fluffy tail behind her while she walked on two legs.
She stepped into the restroom, and looked into the mirror over the sink. The purple-black furred face looking back was unfamiliar, though the muzzle, triangular nose, and ears on the top her head reminded her of her cat form. Her eyes were mostly the same as normal; while the only change to the hair on her head was two white streaks running through it.
Overall, it wasn't a bad look, though it would take some getting used to.
Shampoo thought of heading up to her room, taking off her clothes, and getting a good look at herself in her full-length mirror, but she decided against it - there was no telling when Cologne and Mouse would get back, and she needed to clean up her summoning materials before then.
Deciding it would be less distracting cleaning up while in human form, she put the contract aside, turned on the tap to hot, and splashed herself.
