In the Hokage's tower, Sarutobi saw that a scroll was glowing and frowned. He opened the scroll and saw that it was mostly blank, except for a note at the bottom. The same note that Sakura had read herself, so far in the future.
"Hm. Minato, you always were devious. So, there is a Kage who used this? Maybe, a Hokage?" Sarutobi muttered to himself. "I wonder who. I'll keep my eyes out."
As the years went by, Sakura secretly got her body back to where she could use her more powerful abilities without exhausting herself. She did get annoyed quite a bit by Naruto's antics, but did smile at the large scale pranks. During the ninja academy time, she stood out in only one real way. She was one of the two who were not interested in Sasuke Uchiha. She knew that her scores were perfectly average and would be put with the best and the worst. She knew the teams would soon be made and Naruto would soon have his signature technique. She waited and saw Naruto come in with Iruka's headband around his forehead and nodded. Ino sat down beside her and started talking.
"So Sakura, who do you think the teams will be?" Ino asked.
"Well, one would be you, Chouji, and Shikamaru due to your fathers being on the same team and they'd want to pass down their group tactics down. Another would be Hinata, Shino, and Kiba as a tracking team, probably under Yui Kurenai. Sasuke and Naruto will be on the same team due to one being the best and the other being Dead Last to give a balance to the team. I have no idea where I'll be," Sakura explained. "I'm not sure of the others either."
Ino blinked at the team compositions Sakura mentioned. She couldn't fault Sakura's logic and thought about being on the same team with Sasuke and Naruto and shuddered. She might have a crush on Sasuke, but wanted nothing to do with Naruto and his antics.
"What will happen if you get put on the team with Sasuke and Naruto?" Ino asked.
Sakura shrugged. "Make the best of it, I guess. I guess that is probably where I'll be, since I'm dead center of the class. At least it is better than being on Team Gai, along with Gai and Lee's little hugging scenes."
Ino shuddered at the mention of Gai and Lee. She only saw them once, but that was more than enough for her. She went back to reading her book. Sakura looked at her friend and shook her head.
'At least I didn't toss away my friendship with Ino for chasing after that traitor this time around,' Sakura thought.
Iruka came into the room and started announcing team selections. Ino was shocked at the predictions that Sakura made being right on the money, down to the composition of Team Seven. Ino watched Sakura, as she shook her head in slight amusement at Naruto's yelling about being put on the same team as her and her slight cringing of Sasuke being on the same team.
'How did you guess, Sakura?' Ino thought and went with her team as her team's Jonin instructor entered and gathered her team.
After the teams left, leaving only Team Seven behind, Sakura pulled out a book she had prepared over two years ago. She intended to get back at Kakashi for his lateness with a phony bingo book with a black cover decorated with red clouds.
