Mr. Hino was sitting at his desk when suddenly a pillar of fire erupted in front of him. The sight of the fire shocked Takahashi so badly that he didn't leave his chair. Had Mr. Hino been paying any attention to his surroundings beside the pillar of fire he would have notice several odd circumstances. There wasn't any smoke coming from the fire, the carpet wasn't burning, and the smoke alarm wasn't going off.
Just a suddenly as it appeared, the pillar of fire vanished leaving a young red head in its place. This girl was wearing a yellow blouse, jeans, and a cape of all things. The girl muttered to herself, "Top that for an entrance Carrot Head." After she said this, the girl spotted Mr. Hino frozen in his chair and she smirked. "Well, well, well," she said to herself, "Mom's gonna love it when I tell her that I caused you to be frozen in fear."
This seemed to cause Mr. Hino to regain some of his wits and he quickly said, "Just who do you think you are? There will be security guards here in moments."
To Takahashi's shock, the young woman started laughing. "That's a good one Mr. Hino. However, security doesn't know that I'm here. You see," the woman paused for just a second to summon a small fireball in the palm of her hand, "it's very easy for me to insure that we aren't bothered thanks to my magic."
Mr. Hino now knew that he was on his own and decided to try and talk his way out of this situation. In his best smooth talking voice he asked, "Well it seems that we have the whole afternoon to talk miss. Would you be so kind as to tell me your name and what grievance you are hoping to address?"
The young woman rolled her eyes and replied, "Save the BS for your fellow thieves and the sheeple who keep you crooks in office. I really don't want to be here, but mother told it was either talking to you about your beef with Ranma Saotome or being grounded for casting a Giga Slave on Jurai because of that one moronic pink haired noble."
If it wasn't for the magical display, Mr. Hino would have considered the young woman in front of him to be a certifiable nut. The fact that this visit was about his unwanted son-in-law didn't make Mr. Hino happy about the situation. Trying to take control of the situation again, Mr. Hino firmly asked, "Who are you and what does my son-in-law have to do with your visit?"
There was a confident smirk on the girl's face that Mr. Hino was so used to seeing on Ranma's face. Suddenly the young woman plopped onto Mr. Hino's desk and said, "Name's Lina Saotome. Mom sent me back in time to try and get you to less of an ass to her and pops, Gramps."
