Thunder Ken: Care For Care [Episode 213940]

by Kender

She really wasn't a warrior, and she knew that she couldn't bring some sort of special ability to the 'cause', but Kasumi was happy that they'd brought her along anyway. Her presence amongst those going on this trip might have been mere courtesy, but the fact of the matter was that she rather liked being able to see such a fantastic land as this. For a girl like her, the chance to see really magical places didn't happen all that often. But now she was actually able to see where the gods of those Viking folks had lived.

To be honest, she rather liked the area, as it had a bit of a rustic feel. From what she remembered about the stories, she would have expected more imposing edifices, and harsh weather. However, this was more like what she would expect Hokkaido to be like during late spring, or early summer. So, in a way, two caretakers met, and as Kasumi's hand reached out to stroke another leftover item from those that had lived there, she felt something rush into her body. It was like being filled with a silken wind or water, pouring into her and settling calmly inside her. Still, it was not a malicious sensation, and it seemed intent on being soothing and cool.

Perhaps sensing that something important had happened with her sister, Akane turned to look at the older girl with concern in her eyes. "Kasumi? Are you alright?"

"Certainly," her sister replied. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"It's just...."

"Yes?"

"I don't want you hurt. But things are going okay?"

"Everything is perfectly well," Kasumi murmured, smiling softly as she connected to the caring sensation that was Idunn, while:
