"Sorry about that," the boy said.
"It's okay. I'm Shinji Ikari and this Asuka Soryu Langley."
"Kuya Amagi. Shinji Ikari? You wouldn't happen to be the Shinji Ikari of NERV would you?"
"Er. Yes. How did you know...?"
"Not important. What is important is that you should realize that you are defending Earth and..."
Before anything more could be said, a beeping sound cut through the talk.
Kuya pulled out a digital beeper. A large 'D' was flashing on the LED screen.
"I've got to go. Maybe we'll talk again someday."
"Uh, sure."
Asuka and Shinji watched as Kuya dashed off.
"That was weird," Asuka commented.
Shinji just shrugged and walked on. Asuka shook her head and looked around.
"Asuka! Shinji! Get over here!" A voice yelled from behind the two EVA pilots.
They turned around and saw Misato panting for breath and a squap of NERV security guards with her.
Misato took a deep breath and said, "We have to get back to NERV. Something has came up and we need you two ready to pilot."
"Another Angel?" Asuka asked.
"No. And, you'll get the full breifing when we get back to NERV," Misato replied."
Nervously, the two EVA pilots accompanied Misato back to NERV HQ in Tokyo-3

Sitting in a breifing room at NERV, the three EVA pilots waited. The movie screen on one wall lit up and slipt into four equal sections. Each section displayed different scenes around thw world.
Gendo stood in front of the screen and began.
"Earlier today, a group calling themselves the Ex Tartoro or Tartereus Knights began attacking countries around the world. They are believed to be led by a Dr. Katou. A scientist who used to work on the defunct Dangaioh project."
The three children saw multiple robots of the same type blating away at tanks, troops, airports, and other stuff. The screens switched and each one showed a large robot. Each one was different, but they all looked powerful. A three headed dragon, a preist with a large sword, a pterodactyl, and a humanoid star surrounded by pinpoints of light.
"Theese four robots are the generals of the Tartereus Knights. They are each as powerful as an angel. We have sped up the repairs on Unit 00. It will be ready to fight when this force comes here."
"They're coming here?" Asuka asked in shock.
Gendo nodded. "The Magi have predicted that Katou is saving Japan for last as a prize for himself. They have also predicted that the EVA units are the only things standing between Katou and world domination."
Shinji asked, "What was the Dangioh project?"
Gendo replied, "It was a simmilar project to our Evangelion project. After Gunji Yonamine was killed in an explosion, it was scrapped completly. You have your orders. Good luck."
Gendo waited until the three of them left and hung his head in defeat.
"The MAGI also predecited that we have a .01% chance of winning," Gendo whispered to himself. "The power cords are going to be our undoing this time."
Sighing, Gendo looked at a folder he was reading earlier. On the folder was the words 'Dangaioh Project'.
"If you had survived Yonamine, you might have been put in charge of NERV."

In the EVA launch bays, the children were watching the oncoming forces and talking to each other.
"Well Shinji, ready for a real fight?" Asuka asked.
Shinji stared at the screen. "Maybe. I don't know. It looks like they are surrounding a building right now."
Rei said, "Futagami Research Center is what is written on sign in front of the building."
Asuka and Shinji said in unison, "Futagami?!"
Shinji continued, "We were just on that island. I hope that Kuya person is all right."
Before anyone could continue, the Tarterus Knights decimated the building and started to turn away.
"That's it," Asuka said. "Here they come."
Much to the surpise of everyone, a column of light shot upawards and a massive, high-tech base rose from the ground. The base stopped its acvension and large doors opened up to reveal three launch bays. Eachbay had a single jet launch from it.
"What's going on?" Asuka demanded

In NERV HQ, her feelings were being shared by Gendo and Ritsuko.
"Ideas, Dr. Akagi?" Genod asked.
Sipping a up of coffee, Ritsuko shook her head. "None. Whatever is going on now, has stumped the MAGI."
All the NERV personell watched as the three jets each had a robot drop from them. The three robots proceeded to decimate the standard Tartereus Knights' mecha.
"Impressive," Akagi muttered. "At least they improved our chances with the four big robots. I feel sorry for whoever is piloting those things."

In Eva-02, Asuka shook her head in wonder. "I wonder who came up with those things. Not as impressive as my own Unit-02 of course."

Out on the battlefield, the Dangai Pilots were having their own conversation, using their veiwscreen communicators. They were Hitomi Chidou pilot of Dangai Flail, Manami Misho pilot of Dangai Cross, and Kuya Amagi pilot of Dangai Burst. They had just been surrounnded by the four giant robots.
Hitomi said, "Well, it looks like they rounded us up. Time to break out the big guns. What's our chances?"
"I can't work it out," Manami replied.
Hitomi said, "You suck."
Manami asked, "Should we go to Dimension Mode, Kuya?"
Kuya nodded.
Manami said, "Roger. Unlocking Dimension Mode shields."
After a few seconds, the three Dangai robots were ready.
Kuya yelled, "Cross Dimensions, Dan-gai-oh!"
Much to everyone's shock, the three robots started changing shape and combined into one much large robot.

Ritsuko Akagi dropped her coffee cup and whispered, "Dangaioh? Impossible."
Gendo was having a simmilar reaction. "That project was scrapped and its funding allocated to NERV."

"That is different," Rei said.
Shinji sat back in EVA-01 and breathed a sigh of relief.
Asuka was struck almost speechless by the sudden appearance of the combined robot. "how?"

Dangaioh proceed to destroy the four giant robots with various attacks. It finally attacked the flying fortress of Dr. Katou with the Corss Tornado. With a single attack, Dangaioh destroyed something three times as large as the dimaondlike Angel Ramiel. Before the fortress was destroyed, Dr. Katou's rantings were being broadcast on speakers.
"This day is mine! You hear me! I'm the genius who came up with the power you are using against me! I'm the one who made this possible! Thieves! Traitors! This power should have benn mine! YONAMINE!"
