It began with a blacked-out drunken night out. By the time Soun Tendo and Genma Saotome had come back, they had no recollection of what had begun. It was a week later that all hell broke loose.
"I can't believe your dad could do something like this to me!" Ranma exclaimed.
"I can't believe it, either, but I'm sure we'll figure something out," said Akane.
In the background, Ranma and Akane could hear the arguing between Genma and Soun, which they withdrew from to talk together as the argument started. Ranma was still incensed, with a concerned Akane trying to calm him down and figure out what to do.
"How could he do that to me!?"
"Ranma, I'm sure he had no choice."
"What does he think I am? Some little toy to play with any way he likes?"
"Ranma ..."
"I've had enough of your dad! I can't believe I put up with all his stupid stuff!"
"Hey! Stop talking about Daddy like that!"
With Ranma angered so much that he was hardly listening to Akane, and with Akane getting angrier herself as Ranma's badmouthing of her father got worse, things only escalated.
