Genma and Ranma had been in this world for ten years. Genma knew that if his dream of retiring to an easy life depended on Ranma running a dojo, there were going to have to be concessions to the culture.
One of which was slave-instructors. Not everyone was comfortable with their slaves being trained by a Freeman, or for that matter someone of the opposite gender without some form of supervision. Genma knew about that and might not have been all that happy with the situation, but had come to accept it.
When he caught up with Ranma after checking with a local contact, it was to find that Ranma had gotten two fairly attractive slaves.
A busty redhead with manacles and chains, though they looked sufficiently thick to be restraints they were not placed where they'd be effective in that role. Tight leather sort-of lingerie? Long pointed ears?
A shrine priestess with a sword?
Then between blinks, Genma saw them differently. Black crows wings on the leather-wearing redhead. White tiger-striped cat ears and tail on the miko. Back again when he finished the double-take.
Still, there was something about the two that struck him as not being quite right. These two were attractive enough to get a teenage boy's attention, but their body language was not in keeping with that.
It didn't take long for Genma to place the stances. As bodyguards they had the same watchful-ready appearance. Genma had no doubt the miko could draw that sword quickly. The leather-wearer could probably use those oversized manacles to block attacks.
Genma Saotome considered that and nodded to himself. Two slavegirls who already had some training and whose training could be upgraded. Not bad.
"Yo Pops, this is Miyabi and Synclavier," said Ranma as soon as they were closer.
