Ah well, that was just the passion of youth in them. Having had a number of years under his own belt, he knew that attacking everything in sight wasn't always the best plan. One had to know how to properly relax, and it was obvious that these truants didn't know any such thing. Rather, they were trying to beat on anything and everything, and that was just sad, bringing down his estimation of their quality.
Of course, those among the students who were actually strong likely didn't need to show off like that. When one really was a strong fighter, showing off only came with control of ones abilities. The ability to have fine manipulation of power did a lot more to impress others than the flashy displays of most youngsters, but the fact was that it usually took some seasoning before they actually learned that.
Well, the world would teach them that, even if he wouldn't. His lessons were more of a quick note for them to recognize that if they were going to attack some lonely looking traveller, they had better make certain that they knew what they were going to get in to. If they didn't, then they were likely to deserve what they were getting into.
"We'll get you, old man!"
"You're not so tough!"
"Listen to my part... AH!"
"What are yooo... OHHH!"
Leaving the tangled pair of idiots he'd just thrown into each other behind, Genma continued onward, trying to find something that would actually be worth his time. It wasn't like he had to worry about finding some things, since he was already taken care of his. There was that silly agreement with the Konoe clan after all, and his son did have a way to continue the line through that girl. And with all that wealth, he could live quite comfortably for the rest of his years.
In fact, part of the reason that he was actually out there was to find out if there was something that might interest him. His son might have been learning all those amazing techniques and such, but Genma himself wanted to see about getting his own bonuses out of being in this world. A simple place to have all the sake that he'd want would do well enough, or maybe a good buffet. Beating some sense into some inexperienced kids only went so far, and he had better things to do.
Apparently, that actually included finding things that he didn't expect to locate.
Given that he hadn't actually been looking in to finding something specific, that was perfectly understandable. He had been there for other reasons than a search, and he had to catch up to his son soon enough. Yet, there was no immediate rush, and as he peered over at what he'd found, he realized that there would likely be some sort of interest in it.
So, he leaned in close, and wondered just what it was that he'd come across, which happened to be:
