Take Ryoga Hibiki for example, self-proclaimed rival of Ranma Satome. He almost always shows up to pester Ranma in some way or another, whether it's friendly, or deadly, he is Ranma's rival.
But this Ranma never met Ryoga in his world of origin. But an analog existed in the world he know ruled.
Ryo the Wear-Boar was not the brightest of souls, but he was ridiculously strong and always looking for a challenge. When he had heard about Ranma's latest adventure, he had decided that he would make a fine challenge. Of course there was a little problem of getting them to let him fight Ranma.
This was why he was standing on Ranma’s balcony at 4AM after climbing the stone wall with sheer brute force. With a snort, he smashed his 10ft high hybrid from through the door and into Ranma's Bedroom. "RANMA PREPARE TO DIE!"
This of course brought everyone instantly awake and focused on the threat to THEIR prince.
Poor Ryo.
