Peorth loved Minato with all her heart. However, right now she wanted nothing more than to rip him to shreds with her roses. They said in the pre-birth parenting classes that childbirth hurt, but this was ridiculous! The pain was almost crippling and what made it worse was the fact that the goddess couldn't cast a spell to ease the pain. A goddess's power was temporarily disabled during birth because otherwise her magic would react wildly. Of course, human medication didn't helped Peorth with the pain.
With one last painful push Naruto Namikaze, the son of the Yondaime Hokage and first demi-god ever born in the elemental countries, was born. One of the mid-wives quickly washed the newborn down and wrapped him in a blanket. She then presented the boy to Peorth saying, "Your son, Lady Namikaze."
At that moment nothing else in the world mattered to Peorth. She didn't think about the fact that this wasn't her native dimension, the fact that her knew friends were dying around her, or the fact that she was still in pain from giving birth. All that mattered to Peorth at the moment was that she had a son and he was the most beautiful boy she had ever laid her eyes on.
There was a smile on Peorth's face that even the sweat covering her couldn't hide. She weakly, but eagerly took Naruto into her arms and softly said, "Bonjour my dear Naruto. I'm your mother Peorth. You look so much like your father by dear son." Suddenly Naruto started crying and Peorth instinctively cradled him closer whispering in his ear, "Don't cry dear one, your mother will protect you."
