It looked powerful.
It looked majestic.
It looked awe-inspiring.
...It looked cute.
And oh, how Ranma Saotome hated cute.
During the commotion when something royally exploded in front of them, one of them, or both, managed to accidentally press a button, bringing up, from the looks of it, a side-screen showing the overview of the mech they were in, all highlighted in green with a few patches of red, indicating damages to the unit.
That's when Ranma saw the mech for the first time. And oh how his eye twitched.
When he first saw the cockpit, he was suddenly reminded of those Gundam shows he watched on the off days no one bothered him. So, in awe-struck inspiration, he immediately began running through a list of what kind of Gundam he could have fallen in. Then he saw the Fairlion, and he sported an annoyed look as he beheld the...cuteness. Inside, he was both rather excited that he was in a real-life mecha, and disappointed that he got such a...horribly cute mecha, instead of one of those imposing Gundams. Sighing to himself, he looked at the damages, and, based from what he knew of Gundam, knew the damages were light.
Barnette, meanwhile while still beholding the mech, had star in her eyes. "Aww, how cute!" She cooed. Ranma wanted to palm his face in embarrassment. Wanting to distract himself from this, he looked to the...
And into another side-screen, showing him the blue mech floating beside them. His left eyebrow twitched many more times.
Thankfully, he was saved from further embarrassment as another explosion rocked their cockpit, jarring Barnette from her feminine mush.
As an aside, Ranma thought to himself, 'I'm just relieved no one is here to see this.'
"Hey. there's that boy and Dita's Vandread! And Nirvana!" Barnette cried as she viewed said vessels. "I-I'm home! I just wish everyone could see me."
'Buddha's donuts and coffee...I hate my life' Ranma oh so wanted to bang his head on something.
-Meanwhile.-
"Aww, look! Two really cute alien robots!" Dita cooed, even if they were still in the middle of a battlefield. She eeep'd in surprise when a Cube made a pass.
Hibiki, for his part, just groaned in embarrassment, 'Grandpa's pills, I'm just relieved no man would ever pilot something that horrifically cute.'
Now, ain't that the darnedest thing?
Inside the Fairlion, Ranma sneezed.
