To those observing the two new-comers, they were treated to a rare, if somewhat humorously inappropriate, given the situation, sight of seeing the red one begin a rather awkward, zero-gravitational shimmy as it continued to be pelted by the enemies' salvo, whilst the blue one stayed still. The red one then did a wide arm sweep, and managed to destroy a Cube unit that was passing by. That seemed to have effectively stopped the firing as the other Cubes stared at the wreck of their comrade, then turned back to the red unit, and renewing their fire with more vigor. This prompted the red unit from an awkward wiggle, to a rather frantic flail, as it waved its arms and legs wildly at the Cubes, swatting at them like large flies.
Many of the crews' breath were caught in their throats when many noticed that the blue one's eyes seem to light up. There was a rising excitement when the blue unit began to move, slowly at first, then assuredly moved with a confidence of a robot ready to battle...
Only for many to either develop large sweat-drops on the back of their heads, or crash into the floor face-first as the blue unit joined its red brethren in its awkward flail in a rather strangely synchronized manner. It would have looked like both were dancing, if the dance did not look like a combination of the Lindy Hop, the chicken dance, and the macarena.
-In the Fairlion G(the red one)-
"Ack!" Screamed Barnette as she and the man whose lap she sat on panicked with the controls, as the Harvest units continued to fire upon them, even as the unit they rode in danced strangely. It was even more surprising when Ranma accidentally pressed a button, and something that closely read as 'WINK' something or other flashed briefly on the screen, before the blue unit beside them joined in the embarrassing dance.
She turned towards the pig-tailed man over her shoulder, "Can't you do anything?" She shouted.
Ranma pressed a button and moved the controls, replying, "The heck should I know!? I don't even know how to do this!" Their robot did some weird riposte, while at the same time flapping its arms like a chicken, the blue one following its lead.
Barnette just screamed in frustration, grabbed the control sticks, and pushed them forward. At the same time, Ranma pressed a button that had some strange spirally symbol in its middle.
Suddenly, their robot and the other stopped moving, pointed their heads towards some random Pod that was providing cover fire for the Cubes, and fired some kind of curly beams of light. The 'lasers'(?) struck the Pod successfully, and exploded, destroying the Harvest unit completely.
Ranma and Barnette stared at the explosion, eyes wide in disbelief.
(Unseen, many people from the crew of the Nirvana shared the same sentiment.)
Then they slowly turned to each other, and their gaping mouths soon transformed into twin, rather predatory grins.
And with Barnette solely on the controls, and Ranma pressing some buttons every now and then, both think that they are getting the hang of this.
...Now if only the pleasing sensations whenever Barnette unconsciously grounded her hips on Ranma's lap would stop.
Does Feminine Rage spark something of a Kawaii Crusade to save the two of the 'most cutest' robots from the enemy?
