If there was one place in Nerima that could be pointed to as the center of weirdness, than the Tendo dojo was the place. After all, where else would the sight of a buxom red head and an overweight panda performing moves right out of a Wuxia movie in the morning be considered normal? Kasumi had gotten used to the antics of the Saotomes long ago. In all honesty, she liked this everyday weirdness since it made life more interesting. Currently, the eldest Tendo daughter was busy preparing breakfast and, seeing the extra ferocity of this morning's fight, decided to make an extra large portion of scrambled eggs.
A few minutes later, Ranma walked into the kitchen and politely asked, "Uh Kasumi? is there any hot water available?" Ryoga had accidentally broken the hot water tank yesterday thinking that he was lost in a warehouse in Nagasaki. Everyone in the Tendo house, even Akane, was a little miffed at Ryoga for that stunt.
Kasumi gave Ranma a pleasant smile and replied, "Sure Ranma. There's a small tea kettle over there that I heated up." Almost instantly, a no good Panda made a run for the tea kettle. Ranma quickly attacked his father and the two started brawling over who got to change back.
Part of Kasumi was exasperated at two Saotomes' actions. She quickly put her hands on her hips and said, "There's enough hot water for both of you. Now just stay there and I'll get some cups so you can change back. If you don't, you won't get any scrambled eggs." Naturally, the threat of withholding food caused both cursed men to listen and behave. Kasumi calmly started walking over to the cabinet where the cups were stored and suddenly collapsed onto the ground.
