“Kodachi has been waiting patiently this whole time lets get her taken care of next.” Nabiki decided. “First we should....” she trailed off as Kodachi politely cleared hear throat and interjected.
“I would like to change a few things if all all possible, I have noticed however that I cannot read most of the phones displays, you on the other hand can apparently see them quite well, if it is alright could you explain why please?” Kodachi finished by bowing respectfully to Nabiki, obviously this was a request not a demand.
Looking around Nabiki could see that even if it was a request from Kodachi the others would quickly make it a demand if she didn't explain. Besides she was going to explain when she was done anyway, might as well take care of it now. “It's quite simple really, only the master of the controller, that's Ranma, and the leader of the Harem can read most of the phones data.” the bunny-girl quickly raised her hand to forestall the protests that were on Shampoo and Ukyos' lips. “Before you protest I will explain that I am the head member of the harem for three very good reasons. One Nodoka choose me to sort out the finance mess, which is what this game is all about. Even if I choose to participate in the game it's still my duty to sort everything out and try and untangle the mess you all have managed to create. For that I need the additional authority of the harem alpha. Two Ranma needed, and still needs, someone to teach him how the phone works and help him along the way and I'm the only one that has read the entirety of the manual, moreover I'm more at home with technology then the rest of you. Third I tracked down and purchased all the costumes and the phone on my own time and with my own money, so I'd say I have an honest claim on that front as well. Also, just as an additional note, even if it was not me the only other person it could have been is Kasumi, since everyone else would almost certainly have used the position against their rivals”. She paused to let them think that over.
“It makes sense”. Ukyo reluctantly admitted.
“What she said”. Shampoo agreed.
“Indeed, your explanation makes sense mistress”. Kodachi said, causing a few eyebrows to raise. Moving to kneel in front of the bunny-girl Kodachi beseeched “Now that I understand I crave a few moments of the mistresses time in private to ask if what I wish is possible and whether you will present my case to the master.”
Slightly off-kilter for only the second time that night Nabiki nonetheless kept the surprise out of her voice as she answered.”Of course, we can go to the other side of the dojo, as long as we are quiet that should be private enough”.
