⑨ One-Half: Cirno on the flying trapeze. Caution: Flying bricks. [Episode 216817]

by Falgabird

She zips through the air with the greatest of ease,

The lively young fairy with the power to freeze.

She rides through the winds, higher than all,

CRASH!

...Too bad she din't see the brick wall.

~~~~~~~~~~~
"Uu...Ugh..." Cirno moaned dazedly, as she stared dumbly at the brick wall that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere...
...Or that strange tear in the fabric of reality, whichever. Cirno didn't get a chance to elaborate on this before she was knocked unconscious. Gravity would have pulled her back to Earth, if not for another tear in the reality appearing underneath her, and a pair of arms catching before she even began to fall, gently easing her unconscious body into the strange tear.
Before the tear closed, a voice spoke, heavy in amusement, "Hmm-hmmmmm~♪. Let's see what our young human's destiny here in Gensokyo would be, shall we?" Light, gentle laughter echoed as the boundary closed.
&&&-Meanwhile, with Mystia and Ranma-&&&
"Are you sure you are not tired, Ranma? ♪" Mystia asked, a bit worried at the human.
Ranma, for her part, just looked at her with a cocky grin, before replying, "I'm fine, Mystia. I've swam farther than this, trust me. I'm fine." Mystia looked dubious, but nodded her assent instead. She then smiled again, and, to her pleasure, Ranma, albeit a bit uncertainty tinting the edges, smiled the same gentle smile Mystia was graced during the human's abrupt swim. Ranma really did look pretty.
