"Ribbit!" Went the frog as it made a hopping exit into dry land. She revved back her hand.
"Ribbit!" Went the frog as it seemed to shake the excess water off. Her reared hand began gathering a frosty ball.
"Ribbit!" Went the frog as it began hopping away. She threw the icy ball and it flew with rapid velocity.
"Rib-!" The frog would have continued, as it took two hops...
-FLASH!- There was a brief flash of light, and the frog was suddenly encased in cold hard ice.
She watched carefully, before she threw her hands into the air with glee.
"Whoo!" She whooped, swooping here and there. She was a fairy, a young one at that, seemingly. Short sky blue hair and eyes, and wings seemingly made of crystalline ice, which signified her as an ice fairy. She was wearing a blue one-piece dress over a light pink blouse, and a blue-green ribbon adorned the top of her hair. She made a loop delightedly. "Oh yeah, Cirno strikes again! I am the strongest!" The ice-fairy known as Cirno cried aloud. She laughed to herself in response.
Her laughter slowly simmered down, though, when her ear's caught a faint, but familiar sound a distance away. She was on a far shore of the Misty Lake, and the sound came from other side of the lake. She frowned a bit, straining her ears for the sound. Then she could hear it: singing. She smiled as recognition fully came. She only knew of one person that would sing like that!
"Mystia's around! I should probably go say hi!" With that declaration, Cirno zipped excitedly towards the source of the voice.

Mystia, meanwhile , was subconsciously holding her maddening power a tad as she singed a beautiful melody for the interesting human, who called herself 'Ranma Saotome of the Saotome Anything Goes Martial Arts School'. She didn't know why she was singing without inflicting the madness that usually goes with her song for any humans that listened, but she didn't care. She sang because she felt like singing. Her feelings guided the creation of the words that flowed out of her. And her one audience really liked it.
Her song was nearly disrupted, though, when a giggle threatened to escape her lips, but manage to make it come out as a choppy, cheerful note. After the initial greetings, in which the human made introductions, and Mystia introducing herself, Ranma said that they could talk better if she was on dry land, and Mystia agreed, as the human looked to be tiring slightly from keeping herself afloat. Mystia darted ahead, a song already on her lips, and she could hear even splashes as the human followed on the water. To entertain herself, she had began singing half-way through. She then did a look-back, and saw the large smile adorning the young lady's half-submerged face. If Mystia could see all of Ranma's face, Mystia thought that maybe Ranma would look really pretty if she smiled like that.
'Well...' Mystia thought to herself as she continued singing. 'I hope to see that smile once we get on shore. It shouldn't be too long.' And it was true. She could see the shore, given her altitude, and from the sounds of the increased speed of splashing, Mystia guessed Ranma did too. So, with an even happier tone, Mystia sang.
