Halfway embedded into the compound wall, Ranma shook his head to settle the marbles rattling around in there.
"Did you see where Ryoga came from?" moaned the apparently eight-year-old boy. "Haven't been thrown around like that for a while ..."
"I must apologize for my mistake," the scarily big man stated as he presented the doll to the boy. "Anyting done to dis doll is done to de person. It is vhy de 'Youdoo doll' is not used any more."
"No harm done," groaned Ranma and dislodged his legs, flipping himself out of the hole to land on his feet. "I get stuff like that all the time. Just get rid of the thing."
"I vill not," the fairy argued. "Unless you wish for it."
"I have to wish for it?" repeated Ranma. "I thought I used my wish already - or is this the three-wish deal?"
"I am not a genie, tiny godchild," clarified Jorgen. "Fairy godparents have no limit inside 'Da Rulez' and vill grant all de wishes of our godchild until ve are not needed any more or dey outgrow deir belief in magic."
"And what if I don't outgrow it?" asked Ranma. "I see magic all the time - I know at least six persons with curses that drastically change their appearance ... I had a curse like that until now, and just a day ago, I was close to eighteen years old!"
"If you do not outgrow magic, you vill eventually reach a point vhere you do not need me any more, and when that happens, you vill not remember ever having a fairy godfader," answered Jorgen sternly. "And what age you were yesterday does not matter - when I was assigned to you, you were a sad little boy, and dat is it."
"So, any wish I make, you have to grant?" Ranma clarified.
