Once Ranma was male again, the trio sat down and started to eat. Nodoka was surprised and pleased to see that Ranma was actually eating is a civilized manner. She figured that these unusual actions were because of how shocked he was about how the evening was going. This was a good thing in Nodoka's mind. It allowed her to remove some of the conditioning that he had been through in Nerima. The signal for Nodoka to rock the boat again came when Ranma started to pick up speed in his eating. She simply smiled at her son and calmly said, "So when do you want to shoot your test scene Son?"
Ranma looked up from his plate and nervously said, "Test scene?" So how, Ranma just knew that he wasn't going to like where this was going.
Nodoka took a sip of wine and replied, "Why your sexual test scene of course. We have to see what scenes you do your best in. During the testing you'll be run through the common positions that are film such as missionary, 69, doggy style, and cowgirl. With your curse, we can also run you through the basic Yuri testing. You can do all of the testing at once or you can do the testing in sections."
By this point, Ranma was doing everything in his power to keep from bolting or fainting. It wasn't like he was naive about these sorts of things. Hiroshi and Dasuke and seen to it that he at least knew about these terms and what they entailed. However, it was one thing to hear those two fantasizing about doing these things and a completely different thing to be arraigning a demo of them for work. What made it worst was the fact that it was his mother of all things who was talking about it like she was talking about the weather.
Tea quickly saw how uncomfortable Ranma was getting and politely intervened in the conversation. "Uh Lady Saotome? May I make a suggestion?"
Nodoka was a little disappointed that Ranma wasn't showing any initiative. Had Genma messed things up so badly that her only son would have to be dragged to the casting bed? Nevertheless, she politely smiled and said, "Certainly Tea. I'm always willing to listen to my friends and employees ideas."
The friendly brunette calmly started explaining her idea. "You said that the script for the movie wouldn't be finished for a little over a month. The writers won't need Ranma's screen test for three more weeks. Why don't we set aside the next two weeks for getting Ranma used to acting in a studio setting. We could then produce the screen test for the more adult scenes during the third week and still have it in on time to not delay production."
Tea then paused for a moment and glanced at Ranma. She could see the curiosity and confusion warring in his eyes along with the nervousness. Such emotions were understandable since the actress had felt them herself before her screen test. After a second, Tea returned her gaze to Nodoka and she said, "If it would help, I'm willing to give Ranma a few private lessons before his screen test."
Nodoka had to admit that Tea's plan was a sound one. It brought Ranma into the business, but gave him just enough wiggle room so that he wouldn't feel like everything was crashing down on him. Yes, this little plan would work out just fine as long as some idiot didn't mess it up.
