There was a new nurse, name of Shizune who was busy reorganizing the nurse's office.
There were some new teachers on staff. Named Yugao (kendo club supervisor and Japanese History teacher), Kurenai (kunoichi club supervisor and Math teacher), and Anko (tea club supervisor and Chemistry teacher.)
Discovery that they were also part of Ranma's kunoichi squad would come soon enough, though he already knew of Tsunade being one such.
"We have some new students here due to others being transferred out," said Yugao.
"Why did they transfer out all of a sudden?" asked Akane. "I didn't hear a thing."
"In any case," said Yugao. "These are your new classmates."
Seven girls filed into the room to stand before the blackboard.
"H-Hi, I'm Hinata," said a shy-looking one as she bowed to the class.
"Hmph, Temari," said a cocky-looking one. She merely looked over the class with a challenging look.
"My name is Sakura," said a pink-haired girl who bowed though not so much as Hinata had.
"Ino is my name," said the fourth in line, bowing lightly and sending her ponytail bobbing.
"Tenten," said the fifth, bowing and then waving with a grin. "Pleased ta meetcha."
