If Ranma had any artistic inclinations, he would have gone into a lengthy, melancholic soliloquy involving his luck, as well as other such grievances he would have included. And if this was a play. And if he was in the Neko-ken, there would be lots of meowing.
But, excusing the author for breaking the fourth wall a bit, we all know that Ranma is usually portrayed as a silly half-man, half-woman jock who gets into even sillier situations. And, as a nod towards the 'Broken 4th Wall' thread, sexy situations as well.
But since Ranma is the aforementioned silly jock, he just heaved a heavy sigh and sat there in front of the Gundam he, as well as that violent bi-polar, had somehow acquired, and looked at it in closer detail. His head was hurting a head. A lot of things were happening too soon, too fast. One moment, he was going to sleep in the guest room at the Tendo Dojo, the next he was kicking some alien threat to scrap using a Gundam. What was worst, he seemed to be in some kind of messed-up universe, where, from what he had learned a little whiles earlier, the men and the women lived in two different planets, and seemed to be at war with each other.
Ranma's mind boggled that the war had been going on for so long. How the heck did the men survive? How did the women? How the heck did both genders reproduce without the other? He shook his head and sighed once again. Oh, he damn well knew about the birds and the bees, but he never thought that that knowledge would be challenged. He grimaced as his mind boggled further.
"Hey," A voice called out to Ranma, and he turned towards the docking bay where the other giant robot was on stand-by, and that spiky-haired teen was also sitting in front of his robot, cleaning some tools with a rag. "Yer that weird half-guy, half-woman, right?" Ranma, once again, sighed, and nodded. The guy, Hibiki Tokai, just shrugged his shoulders, before turning back to the wrench he was wiping, "Well, don't get me wrong, having to turn into a woman is really kinda weird." Hibiki paused, before turning towards his Vanguard, a smirk on his face, then turned to Ranma once again, "But, hey. One thing all men, even half-men, could share," Hibiki nodded towards the stationary Gundam, before he nodded to his own Vanguard, "Is that we all have awesome Partners."
Ranma raised an eyebrow at this strange broach of topic, looked at the Gundam, before a smirk grew on his face.
"Yeah," He said, still smirking, "I s'ppose yer right."
Then, the door to the landing docks opened, Hibiki and Ranma turning their heads towards the door. There standing with her own mite-condescending smirk, was Magno Vivan.
"Well, looks like you're adjusting well to the Nirvana and her crew." Was all she said.
The men throw him, currently her, looks of a condemned man being led to his death.
Alternative: Nah, Ranma and Barnette meet up and have a talk. Decisions that this would end violently is entirely optional.
