It was a while later, after speaking with the Captain, Magno, about the details of his stay there, that Ranma found himself, after a bit of exploring, lying on a patch of grass on the garden of the Nirvana, directly below the bridge. The lights had been dimmed due to the scarce number of people present, the exceptions being some bright lights coming from the console screens in which some of the bridge operators were still working on.
Closing his eyes for a brief moment, he opened his eyes once again, looking up at the expanse of stars above him. It was daunting, he had realized then and there, to look up at unfamiliar seas of celestial lights, as he had grown to know and familiarize himself with his planet's stars and constellations; oh, not to the extent that made him sound smart if he were ever to describe them in detail, but enough that he could at least recognize them by look, as well as give each of them their respective names.
"Well, no use cryin' over it..." Ranma muttered as he forced his body to relax, still tense at how this day had been going, and that he should technically be asleep, as it had been nighttime when he was dragged into this latest mess. That, and his wrists and ankles still hurt when he had finally escaped from the clutches of that water-pitching girl with the camera and frog puppet, just before his meeting with Hibiki and the Captain.
It did not take long for Ranma to finally unwind himself, and prompted to take a quick nap on the garden then and there. So relaxed was he that he didn't sense the approach of another presence in the garden until he felt someone promptly sit on his chest and nudge him awake. Opening his eyes with a groan, he yelped when he saw a pair of half-closed purple eyes staring him. Then he realized that those pair of eyes belonged to a familiar head of green hair.
"Oh,it's you..." Ranma muttered, staring at the woman's face, and trying hard not to stare at her state of dress, that is that rather tight and flattering one-piece she called clothes.
"Barnette..." The woman said, her stare unwavering.
"Huh...?" Ranma responded.
The woman just huffed in annoyance, and glared at Ranma, "Barnette. Barnette Orangello, that's my name." She then poked him on the cheek, still glaring, "And...?"
Ranma just rolled his eyes, "Ranma Saotome..." He tried getting up, only to yelp when Barnette just pushed him back down. Holding onto the front collars of his shirt.
Ranma blushed when Barnette brought her face so close to his that they were practically nose-to-nose. The effect was ruined when Barnette glared at his eyes.
"Shut up... just... shut up." Barnette started.
Ranma didn't take the prompting, "Just what the hell's your problem, anyway?"
"You're from Earth..." Was all she replied.
Ranma developed a tick at that vague answer, "So?"
Barnette developed a tick of her own, "So? You can tell me what the hell is going on with your planet."
"What? How the heck would I know?" Ranma tried getting up again.
Only for Barnette to slam him back down again, answering with a definite growl in her voice this time, "The heck would you know? The heck should you know!"
"...? What're ya talkin' about!" Ranma managed to muster up enough minimal strength to sit up, making Barnette squeak in surprise, as she dropped down to his lap, straddling him once again.
Barnette just stared at his face, before slowly getting out, "You really don't know your situation, do you...?"
Ranma just growled in annoyance, "Look, I had just got home from another crazy day filled with jealous pigs, crazy martial arts, and mallets, and was just about to lie down on my bed and take a good long sleep, when you just dropped in. Now, I'm out here in space, in a Gundam, of all things, with a ship full of women and four guys, in some place where I don't know the constellations, getting hit by water from a maid...nurse...whatever... with no possible explanation on how I got here in the first place."
By this point, it should be noted that, in an effort not to fall off of Ranma, Barnette had unconciously encircled her arms around Ranma's neck, incidentally pressing their chests intimately together.
Ranma now glared at Barnette, making her flinch at the ferocity of that stare, "So you go tell me that I really don't know my situation."
As if to refute that claim, there was a strong, but brief tremble, disturbing the small pond enough that it created a big spout of water, headed straight to...
-SPLASH!-
Ranma, turning him into her.
Barnette, who got caught in the splash, blushed at the wet red-head grumbling under her. That the both of them were wet to their skin was another thing altogether, as the Mejelian woman felt the Earth-woman's generous...endowments.
That, and added to the fact that her chest was quite literally pressed into the man-turned-woman's chest. The sensations, while rather pleasing, were overridden as she only had one thought, 'Damn! She's just half-a-cup below Jura's size!'
So it would be the darnedest thing that said long-haired blond just entered the garden, and the first thing that she saw were Barnette and the currently-female newcomer in a rather intimate position.
As both turned to look at her in shock, Jura just stared for a moment, before a smirk appeared on her lips, "Well," She said, perverse humor in her voice, "Does that mean me and Barnette are going to have a new mate to play with?"
Ranma-chan and Barnette's blushes were incandescent.
From the bridge above, one of the 'bridge-bunnies', Celtic Midori, the teal-haired operator, who at the moment literally sported a pair of cosplay bunny-ears, just muttered under her breath as she watched the scene over her workstation.
"So scandalous..."
