He wasn't used to seeing a fence that looked like it could keep dinosaurs out, surrounding a 'Private Forest Preserve' where maids with modern-looking weapons patrolled. He wasn't used to a pool so big it had an arched bridge halfway across so people didn't have to go so far to go around. He wasn't used to airplanes and a blimp being hangared on property. He wasn't used to an attached village/medieval theme park down the road. Or factories and warehouses and shipping.
Ranma was NOT used to seeing a kitchen so huge that it could make food for hundreds of people. Nor was he familiar with 'clean room' facilities or 'safe rooms' or a treasure vault or...
After about three hours of this tour he was feeling a bit dizzied. Not only because of all the odd things here. Because of all the usually-pretty mostly-young maids that were EVERYWHERE.
It didn't take him long to realize that some of the maids were apparently figuring out his destination and then arranging to arrive there before he did. Doctor Lorelei also apparently realized that too, and relayed to security the more obvious ones.
"Main bath," said Doctor Lorelei as the golf-cart zipped by marble statuary and a Roman-style bath.
"Is that gal there MADE of water?" asked Ranma as he noticed a naked mostly-transparent girl standing on the surface of the water.
"Your grandfather did have a branch that experimented with magical summonings," said Lorelei.
"Huh," said Ranma, not sure how to take that.
"And this is the combat arena and dojo complex," said Doctor Lorelei as they passed another building. "And if you look to the right... most people wait for the cart to stop before leaping off."
