Schneider’s Resurrection: Driving Ollivander up the wall [Episode 218382]

by HistorianoftheKais

The very next day, Dumbledore and Harry Schneider were standing outside of Ollivander's wands. Normally, wizards and witches didn't visit Ollivander's after they bought their wand, unless it was to buy on for their children. However, Harry had a little problem. His wand kind of blew up when he tried to use the Lumos charm. Thus, he and Dumbledore were outside the store to get Harry a replacement wand. Dumbledore came because he wanted to observe Harry Schneider more.

Immediately when they entered the store, Ollivander appeared and said, "Good heavens. Why are you two here during the school year?"

Harry pulled out the remains of his wand and said, "My power increased a lot because of special circumstances. I'll need a new wand that can handle my power. Apparently, it's bad form for a wizard to be at Hogwarts without a usable wand." Upon saying that Harry shot Dumbledore and nasty glare. Personally, Harry didn't see why he needed a wand since he could use Black Magic, Death Magic, High Ancient Magic, and Forbidden Magic perfectly.

Ollivander took one look at the old holly and phoenix feather wand, which was doing an impression of a destroyed cartoon gun barrel, and fainted. Harry wanted to grab the old man and shake him awake. However, Dumbledore was sending him a glare and Harry didn't want fight the old goat over it. Hermione would have his hide if he started blowing up the Alley without a reasonable, to her, cause.

A few minutes later, Ollivander awakened and said, "Oh dear, oh dear. This is most disturbing Mr. Schneider. You see, wizards shouldn't have their wands explode because they simply cast a spell. The reason for that is it is unthinkable for a wizard to have that much power that it would overload the wood. Judging from the wreckage, I would doubt that even the legendary Elder Wand could contain you power." Ollivander had to pause for a moment because he was interrupted by Dumbledore choking for a few seconds. "I'm so sorry sir, but there is no legal way for you to get a wand that would work for you."

Harry smirked and said, "Alright old man, fess up. You said that there was no legal way for me to get a wand that would work for me. How do I get a working wand illegally? Don't worry about the Ministry of Morons. If they try to stick their noes in I'll simply blow them up."

Ollivander's eyes darkened and he replied, "Wandmakers didn't always use wood for wands Mr. Schneider. Centuries ago, a group of Wandmakers discovered that bones taken from living wizards made a far better casing for wands than wood ever could and would allow a wand to use cores that are simply too powerful for wood. These wandmakers started capturing wizards, particularly purebloods because of the belief about purebloods being stronger wizards, and harvesting their bones for wands. Naturally, the Ministries of the time had those wandmakers killed, the process declared illegal, the wands destroyed, and all knowledge of it sealed. The Ollivander family tends to keep a very close eye on things in the wandmaking business and almost nothing has been lost by us."

Harry grinned at Ollivander and said, "What would you say if I got you a freely given bone from the most powerful wizard alive?"

There was a twinkle in Ollivander's eyes and he replied, "Well then Mr. Schneider. I would have to say that such an item, if you could acquire it, would definitely be suitable for your needs."

Dumbledore watched on in shock and horror as Harry grabbed his left hand with his right and ripped out his Ulna bone. Harry then presented the bone still dripping in blood to Mr. Ollivander and said, "Here you go old man. The bone from the most powerful wizard ever freely given. Now, what else do we need for my new wand? Hopefully, I won't have to rip out my heart again. That's never fun to resurrect from." THUD!!! Harry and Ollivander turned to see Dumbledore passed out on the floor of the wand shop.
